In the infant room babies are left to cry it out (even two months olds) and in the toddler room kids are forced to become independent before they are ready. Montessori is all about following the child but there they want a 18 months old to be able to dress themselves and leave them to cry out of frustration for up to an hour. I have picked my daughter up in soiled diapers several times and In numerous occasions the diapers leaked through her pants. If you have special dietary restrictions be sure that they will be ignored even if you specifically write them out. My vegan daughter got dairy and eggs for 2 months until I finally found out about it. They will put children in danger. They put my daughter into an adult sized chair during a meltdown and let her fall off TWICE and did not even repay the unused tuition for that month when I finally took her out of the school. Tried to meet with them for a month but it never ended up coming to a meeting since the owner insisted that 2 other employees should be part of the meeting which shows that she doesn't even truly care about the situation. Stay away from this place if you care about your child's wellbeing.

While there are some positives, ultimately the cons outweighed the pros, and we made the decision to withdraw him. One of our biggest concerns was the lack of structure and classroom management, particularly with teachers Amy and Natalie (science and ELA). It never felt like they truly cared about our son as an individual, and issues at school were never communicated to us as parents. We've had our child in private schools for years and have never encountered some of the incidents we experienced here, incidents that were genuinely appalling. The school seems to promote freedom and compassion, but in our experience, that often masked a lack of accountability and consistency. Natalie, the reading teacher, was known for favoritism towards certain students (especially the girls), and this was widely acknowledged among the students but never addressed by leadership. Behavior issues in the classroom were often ignored, and there was no real structure in place to support student discipline or teacher accountability. Academically, we were disappointed by the lack of real assessment and instruction especially in reading and grammar. Grammar, for example, was only corrected during portfolio work, but not actively taught. We had to hire outside tutoring just to get our son up to grade level. After an assessment for a new school, we discovered he wasn't at grade level for math either. In summary, while the school may present a warm and progressive image, the day-to-day reality did not reflect true care, structure, or educational quality. Children need both freedom and clear boundaries, and above all, they need educators who see and support them as individuals. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I cannot recommend this school.

There is many lovely things I can say about this school…read more I'll start off by saying the teachers and students are lovely here. Students are respectful, well- mannered, and kind to other peers, no sign of bullying, which is great and rare to see nowadays. It's very easy to make friends here as long as you try talking with others! They will all approach you, too! The program offered here is also highly rewarding and amazing and am so thankful for it. Each student has the opportunity to earn as high as an Associates Degree in this school! You are practically a college student, with a college email with LoneStar, do assignments, pick your classes and schedule, and get many privileges here! Of course it can be challenging, but as long as you do all your work and study on time, you can get great grades, have nice friends, and enjoy all your free time stress free!!! All the High School work is online, therefore it is recommended to bring your own personal laptop, but they also let you use the school laptops which are pretty good too for free! All your college tuition, and textbooks, etc is free too! We use to not have ANYTHING athletically related, but our school is soon starting a soccer team this year and other sports! You have much freedom and advantages in this school, so as long as you behave good and do your best, it will be easy and rewarding at the end! Sadly, there is no transportation or lunch provided, but there are microwaves and vending machines! The only thing I wish they could fix is having more school spirit! I wish we could do things together as a whole school at least on Fridays! Also, I wish we could have more clubs to help in certain careered like maybe a medicine/ health club, LAW club, teaching, technology, ART, journalism, etc. to help people find ways to find a career they are interested in if still indecisive.... Anyways, school is overall amazing with great admin and the school is also very pretty and clean and SAFE!
