The exhibit reminds us that our oceans are truly "haunted" -- not by spirits, but by pollution and garbage. The displays made from recycled materials show just how much waste ends up in the sea, and it's a great way to make both kids and adults think about how we can all help bring the ocean back to health. There is also a big LEGO model of the Cannery. Worth to check it out! I always find the temperature inside the cannery is cold especially in the winter time. I learned about how salmon was processed and canned, and then how herring fish were reduced into oil and fish meal. There's a section of the museum that is geared more towards small children to keep them interested. There's a gift shop at the end that has canned salmon to purchase, now that you know the amount of work that goes into processing, as well as other goodies. As a side note, I didn't realize that this museum offered tours, although I did come in the off season. From looking at other reviews, it seems cool that they can run the displayed machines at a slower speed to really illustrate how everything worked!
