Jimmy came out (from miles away) in his fully equipped work truck, with not one but TWO starters (nobody knew which one would fit my old vehicle until he took it off and matched it). He fixed it outside, in the dark, as tumbleweeds swirled in a vortex (possibly caused by space aliens) around the Bonifmobile. Also he had to modify the heat shield bracket thing, for the new starter to fit. Packs of hungry coyotes howled in the distance as some type of Skinwalkers observed from a distance. Jimmy threw a rock at them and expertly finished the job. Also he charged less than the local garage would have, but they were closed all weekend anyway. (Did I mention that this was during a holiday weekend? It was during a holiday weekend...) By honest I mean, Sarah, Collins wife, refused to take my money for repairs until they did a complete look at my X5. She wanted to make sure that nothing had changed since my original quote and that I knew what I would be paying for too. Sarah also told me that Collin didn't have much experience with BMW repairs but he was willing to pull up his sleeves and do the work as long as I would be patient. Did they have to do any of this? No! Most mechanics and or dealers would take your money and if there were more expenses along the way, then that is when I would find out. Not only was the craftsmanship spot on, but my bmw runs better than it did before. When I bought my vehicle, it didn't have the tire locks too. I had a very bad leak and the tire places couldn't patch the tire without the tire locks. Collin took another nut with a proper key and sauntered it onto the existing locks and was able to remove the locks that way. That was genius. It was there almost a week but it was completed in 2 days.. not counting the weekend. It wasn't cheap but they fixed what I needed. Btw... the cost was on par for what I had expected Great! I had originally taken to another local shop a couple weeks prior which they claimed they don't have the tools To fix the tick. But they had no peoblem taking 1500 to fix another issue. All the value of what they do is so much better than the dealership because they're actually looking at the car each individual car. At the dealership, you don't have a choice they don't speak to you. They don't listen to your concerns about your vehicle they treat every car the same at the dealer.
