Now under new ownership..Red's Broken Spoke. Great live music . Wait staff friendly and good appetizers. They have an outdoor area out back with a fireplace and plenty of seating. Friendly people to us outsiders.

A fun casual environment, friendly people, good beer choices, good food and cool dive bar vibe. One of my favorite places in the area

Came here from Harrisonburg a little after noon on a Sunday after visiting a couple restaurants…read moreearlier that just had long waits or a menu that conflicted with my allergies. My girlfriend and I decided to come here because the reviews were great and we hoped that it wouldn't be crowded. And boy am I glad that we did! Do note that parking can be a bit awkward, we decided to park across the street in the post office parking lot which I'm not entirely sure was legal but it was a Sunday so they weren't open anyways. Immediately upon walking in you can take in the entire restaurant. Maybe ten tables, a little counter, and then two doors leading to the restrooms/kitchen respectively. The hostess sat us down immediately and I felt like we were treated so nicely. The small town vibes of the place really shown through. Seems like the place had a bunch of regulars too and the hostess was making conversation. I was torn between the Dayton burger and the waffle with breakfast meat, but ultimately went with the burger. I was not disappointed at all! The burger was cooked perfectly, super juicy and tender. It got a little messy but that's what you want out of a good burger. I also got a side of onion rings. They were very crispy and delicious, and paired well with their aioli. The sandwiches also come with a pickle spear on the side which I love. My girlfriend got the cali burger which was advertised as coming with guacamole. She said it tasted more like mashed avocado than true guacamole; nevertheless she enjoyed her burger. I will definitely be coming back here! Do yourself a favor and enjoy some delicious food while also supporting this super friendly local business.

Located in Downtown Harrisonburg, there menu features fresh, hand selected seasonal foods, organically grown produce Our waitress Abby, was phenomenal. She handled our party of 13 like a pro. When I return, I highly recommend this young lady. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave recommendations and had really good customer service. She is excellent with large parties. The ambience here is really nice, Food was delicious, the only dish I was not a fan of was the crab dip. Everyone loved the brussel sprouts, and my steak was cooked perfectly. If your in the Harrisonburg area, highly recommend

Food came out quickly. While here I had the following. Crab dip-not my fave. The flavor reminded me of hamburger helper. There was hardly any crab but, there was tuna. Brussel sprouts-deelish. I love the cook and seasoning of them. Crispy but tender. NY strip steak- juicy, adequately seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered medium and that's what I got. The steak itself was a nice serving. The asparagus was deelish as well. The dish could use a few more stalks. To wash it down I had a glass of the montepulciano. A dry red with a sweet bouquet. Not overly sweet though. You should check them out if you're in the area.

Where do I even start with the Blue Stone Inn?…read more At first glance, well...you might glance away and keep on driving, because it seems like one of countless little restaurants you might pass as you're zooming down a highway, focused on work, family, vacation, or other concerns. In fact, there's a good chance even I had passed the restaurant on more than one occasion. But don't do that, it's a huge mistake! Because as I discovered recently, every meal you miss at Blue Stone Inn isn't just lost deliciousness, it's an opportunity gone forever to break bread with friends and family in the kind of space that makes you long for a world that no longer exists - familiar, welcoming, old school. The Blue Stone Inn isn't fancy. It's rustic. And please don't read that as a criticism, it isn't. It's definitely nice. I realized I was vibing hard, loving the atmosphere, the people, the vibe. Service was prompt and courteous with the familiar feel you only seem to get in smaller towns these days. And the food - OMG. Most of us started with a salad and the house bacon vinaigrette. And the breadbasket - so, so good, but don't fill up on it! Because all the food is To. Die. For. We then quickly moved on to various steaks. My ribeye was insanely delicious, cooked perfectly, with an excellent baked potato to round out the meal. My dining buddies upgraded to the steak-and-seafood combos, which were apparently also quite good. I skipped dessert - too much bread early on. But the delicate, beautiful, generous slices of cake my friends had ended the meal on a perfect note. Can't recommend Blue Stone Inn enough. Be aware that if you go, it seems there are some homeless cats in the parking lot and around the restaurant. Super friendly, I suggest bringing some treats for them. I had some cat food in the car so they got a little dinner as we were leaving. Enjoy!

We called and they said no reservations. We walked over and noticed there are NO lights in the parking lot. This made it feel dangerous with cars driving around and very unsafe. After a few minute wait we were seated. Our waitress was either new or off her game that day. Our drink order eas taken fast, but that's where the positives end. She didn't come back for almost 20 minutes ro take our order. Another table that came in after us already had their food before we even ordered! The rest of the night was like this. Someone at a nearby table went to the bar for another beer because she took so long with them too. We were ready to leave but our waitress was nowhere to be found for almost half an hour. By that point the restaurant was practically empty. It's almost like she forgot we were still there. The food was decent, but a little overpriced for what it was. I ordered bbq while my wife had the rotisserie chicken. I thought it was a little bland. I overheard our waitress say they often have people come in who don't want to wait at the other steakhouse nearby. I would say change your plans to something else. You'll be thankful you did.
