I'm glad to see the students now get access to such a beautiful campus. Their fitness center is great and they have three of them and it's spacious and full of equipment.

There are extremely violent students at campus, and many are also arrogant, snooty, self absorbed and stuck up and they act like they see no fear in the world, most students act like they are supposed to be entitled to something and most skip class and start trouble. Professors don't care about you either, just regard you as a number. The school uses tuition money just to improve their flat screen tv's and sports teams, nothing else, they don't care about students at all. They fool students because just paying for the name, not for anything else. And just like at any college, bullying and fights happen too, that doesn't just happen in elem, middle and high school, it happens in college too. Many rude stuck up students there too. And just about all the students who attend here eventually end up going into a lot of debt and financial struggles. Just because it's called SU, doesn't mean it's great because it isn't. Buildings aren't clean either and students will leave trash anywhere. Being honest. Ignore all the fake positive reviews lying saying they "love it at su", those reviews just written by su employees, not by actual people who went there.

The Evergreen campus itself is small but also quite beautiful in the varying seasons. The admissions building is a beautiful Victorian style home surrounded by a big quad and varying buildings. The grounds seem to be well maintained. The athletic center with the pool (the FAC) is also kept up well. The biggest complaint I have as a commuter and a visitor is the parking. There is basically no on-campus parking. The visitor lot is expensive and small -- often times it is reserved for different athletic and academic events on campus. You can try nearby side streets but there are times when nobody is allowed to park there, which tend to coincide with the end of undergrad classes and the beginning of grad classes. There are shuttles to locations like the FAC and the cathedral of Mary, Our Queen, but the shuttle is slow and unreliable. The graduate campuses at Timonium and Columbia have huge parking lots with enough room for everyone. If you want to visit, invest in an Uber or be willing to circle around for a while to park. Or you can pay for the Jenkins visitor lot. Your choice!

Another visit, to get a glimpse of a class in progress, was also a failure. Again, I couldn't find anyone who could even point me in the right direction! So, one last time, having learned my lesson, I tried another method, and called for information. The auto-answer says, "Welcome," and then sends a caller into an interminable hold. Again, no human. What a shame, and waste.

Most of the professors are great, and the classmates are usually working professionals with families, so it's not the same drama that you may get when the class is fresh out of high school. All the classes are in the evenings, and there are computer labs available to do additional work and printing your papers. Of course you do have the option of doing the online classes. The staff cares about its students and their successes. Note of honesty... the pictures shown here from Corporate are just not this campus.

Even if you are not quite sure what you want to concentrate on they are there to guide you and give you the information needed. Never be afraid to ask questions. Strayer offers a variety of majors. There is always someone to help you along the way. Starting a new venture is an adjustment. Students come from different backgrounds. We are mothers' father's single household, caretakers and in the workforce. The first year one learns how to juggle your time. Everyone has a different study time depending on the needs of the family. Some study while children are doing their homework, others may get up early or stay up late. You must fine your place to maintain your studies. Many days will be harder than others but always remember this is your education and for whatever reason, you are doing this know you are important and never give up.
