By morning, walking had become quite difficult and uncomfortable. In my distress, I called Pacific Foot and Ankle Center. Loren answered with genuine kindness and urgency. Even though Dr. Petersen already had three patients scheduled, she kindly asked if I could come in within 20 minutes. I was so grateful they were able to accommodate me on such short notice. After a brief wait, Dr. Petersen thoroughly assessed my condition with calm expertise. He ordered X-rays and administered a cortisone injection right away. The relief was impressive, I felt about 20% better almost immediately, and within six hours the pain had decreased by roughly 85%. I was finally able to walk much more comfortably again. Dr. Petersen is a skilled and compassionate specialist who clearly prioritizes his patients. Loren and the entire team were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me when I needed it most. They turned a painful, sleepless night and a difficult morning into a day of real relief and appreciation. If you're dealing with foot or ankle issues, I strongly recommend Pacific Foot and Ankle Center and Dr. Petersen. Their responsive, effective care made a significant difference for me, and I'm truly thankful.

It wasn't a completely terrible visit - but it certainly could've been better. OC Podiatry's Irvine office is now based off Sand Canyon/Alton, in the Hoag Hospital Complex - my first visit was at an office off Barranca Pkwy, behind the Green Burrito. Their Hoag office is a fancy setting - modern facility, with plenty of parking - conveniently located off the 405/5. Dr. Coyer wasn't available, so I met with Dr. Tien instead. Dr. Tien was thorough, provided several treatment options for my ingrown toenail (owie) - including a partial nail removal, which was what I ultimately went forward with. While she was friendly, I definitely felt the three pokes while she injected the local anesthetic into my big toe. The actual nail-cutting wasn't completely painless (which you'd think it would be considering the anesthesia). I like to think I have a relatively high pain tolerance level too, considering I had all of my wisdom teeth removed under local, instead of general anesthesia. No major issues with the procedure - not knocking off any stars for that. The issue is the post-op/after visit. Despite being considered "in-network" - I had to pay for everything - the visit and the procedure - upfront, and in full. There wasn't any explanation from the clerk as to why or if my insurance was insufficient. This was new to me - and I think I have decent insurance, it's Blue Cross PPO - I usually see other specialists with a low copay. Luckily I was able to cover the fee - which was several hundred dollars - but getting some sort of price estimate before the procedure is performed, would've been nice. Or a heads up that they expect the full payment upfront. With follow-up questions on whether I need to file the claim with my insurance or not - I tried to reach out to the office, only to get a long winded voice message redirecting me to a loop - same voice message plays regardless of what number I press. It seems like the only way to get a hold of the office is via text only. Which is frustrating - especially when it's regarding something that is probably more efficiently resolvable speaking over the phone vs. texting. So what started off as a great experience - eventually dwindled down to a "could've been better" experience. If you need to see a foot doctor for whatever reason - Drs. Coyer or Tien are great. But just be prepared to deal with the "after" - unless yours is a simple and straightforward visit.

My husband and I had been walking daily to prepare for the trip, and I developed a bone spur that caused so much swelling & pain, I thought it was going to ruin my trip. Dr. Farajian squeezed me in for assessment and offered a 2 day plan before leaving. Day 1 Sound Wave shock therapy. Day 2 Dual Laser Therapy. By day three I was on a plane to Paris with a walking boot. My first day in Paris I did use a wheelchair for our visit to the Louvre but by the next day, I was able to walk boot free and pain free for the rest of my trip! Until I took a misstep and fractured my ankle on a castle tour at the end of our trip! I came home in the same boot I left in!!! But, not to worry, after 3 weeks of Laser therapy that Dr. Farajian recommended, I am so thrilled and ecstatic to be walking boot and pain free again with NO SURGERY!!! A massive thank you to Dr. Farajian and her office staff for taking such great care of my foot & ankle issues in a non-invasive and effective manner. These treatments are the real deal! I highly recommend Dr. Farajian and her team for their extraordinary results and personal care and support of their patients! -Renata Green-Gaber

Dr. Jacobs is so very compassionate and kind. She performed a thorough evaluation, clearly explained what was going on, and started treatment right away. Her knowledge and confidence immediately put me at ease. After months of struggling with foot pain, I am now walking pain free for the first time in six months thanks to her care. Her staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. If you are looking for a foot and ankle doctor in Southern California, I truly believe Dr. Jacobs is the best in the area. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Even after I explained that my confirmation msg clearly stated 5:15, they called me again at 5:12 to say there would be not a single minute of grace if I was late. Which was unnecessary, since I was already at the plaza and would have arrived on time. The front desk staff was rude and unapologetic. I only showed up because they still charge a cancellation fee. I also spent hundreds on orthodontic work that wasn't even great. I work in the service industry myself, and this experience was unacceptable. I won't be returning.

He Definately cares about his patients and we aren't just a number to him. He is very understanding and takes the time to actually listen and have feedback that isn't just some general information that iv heard a thousand times before. I trust that he will get down to the root cause and get me the proper care for the underlying issue. Not just wrap it up and tell me to leave it alone for days at a time until my next appointment. The last time I went to a doctor about my foot just wrapped it and told me to leave it alone for a bout a week. The pain became so bad that I had to unwrap it to see why it was so painful and out of nowhere I had a wound that looked like something was chewing my skin off and oozing out yellow stinky liquid. And when I go back to tell the doctor wat happend. They got mad at me and wrapped it up again and told me to leave it this time as if I had done something to cause it. It was obviously infected and the doctor had just wanted me to cover it up and forget about it and hope it went away. I had lost all faith in medicine until I ended up seeing Dr Savasky while I was at the hospital recently. I can't wait for my next appointment to figure out what to do next and to talk baseball with him. (Go dodgers!) anyways I recommend him to anyone experiencing problems with their feet. He will actually help u. He's not just thinking of ways to get paid over your misfortune. Thank you so much to the staff there and to Dr Savasky. When I saw that my appointment was on a Saturday I thought there had to be a mistake. I had left a message with his answering service the night before trying to confirm the date and someone from his staff called me first thing the next morning and told me the appointment was in fact today and gave me plenty of time to get ready for it. I wasn't expecting to hear back from them at all. Thank you Dr Savasky!!
