It's hard to find or trust a jeweler and Scott easily earned my business for life! Scott is patient, caring, and sincere, and truly loves his job. He looked at my ring and explained what needed to be done for repair. He also alerted me that the stone had damage-cracks but he would do his best. When he received the parts he started working on the ring and during the process broke the stone. He called me immediately and told me the unfortunate news and said that he had another stone on order at his expense. When I got the ring back it was perfect, and the stone is of much better quality than I previously had. Scott and I looked in books and online for ideas for the pendant I want to redesign. Even though I had my heart set on some designs he told me the honest truth about the flaws in the designs and produced a design that will not only be beautiful, it will last for years, and it will be reasonable! He added higher quality stones at a discount & gave me a very good price on old/unworn jewelry. Even though I haven't presented the payment yet and the project is on hold, I'm very excited to get the piece completed. I can't wait to work with Scott again! For an average shopper with limited time or a texting teen with a limited attention span, the display mix might be ideal as they'll see a little of everything no matter where they look. The items are well displayed, easy to pick up and placed in a way to make it easy to find the pricing. It's mostly a costume jewelry place with lots of unusual pieces, but everything was very reasonably priced. Both the jewelry and the bags were in bright summery colors. They were so helpful. Jessica was very nice and Dan took a look at it. He fixed the prong immediately and Jessica cleaned it for me. Dan said it was an easy fix, but it was so nice of him to take a look at it and fix it for me so quickly. This was my second experience at this jeweler. They also cleaned my engagement ring for me before my wedding and they were not over priced and it looked great. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this location because I feel they always have a size run in the newest styles, whereas other locations may be sold out of an item - and similar items - in a particular size. Anytime I'm in the mood for a new outfit for work, every day, or vacation, I head to Maurice's. They also have cute jewelry and shoes. Catch them at the right time and they have amazing clearance sales! I often have a difficult time envisioning outfits, and Maurice's does a superb job with their mannequins and displays. I usually end up purchasing the outfit/items on display and sometimes right off the mannequin. The sales associates, particularly at this location, are very friendly and helpful; I like how they offer suggestions once they see what you are looking for, and if you aren't having any luck in the fitting room. If you are just browsing, they are not pushy - which I really appreciate! This store is, on average, pricey than Kohl's. However, the items are of better quality and are targeted to being a more "timeless" fashion rather than what's hot right now. I have gotten *so* many compliments on my work outfits that I purchased from this store; and even after years of wash and wear, they still look great. If you can't tell, I'm definitely a fan!
