As an Army veteran, I impulsively use USAA for pretty much everything. However, when it came to financing my first home. It became very apparent that they weren't my best option. Set aside the fact that you are randomly assigned a loan officer to work with you and that the person I was assigned wasn't from or familiar with the San Diego area. But when USAA advised that they have a firm stance on not financing condos in SD. Which drastically reduced the number of properties I could consider. I was left with no other option but to find an alternative. That is when Steve and the Hyde Funding group stepped in and stepped up! The firm is well set up, fast and efficient with a secured portal which allows borrowers to upload documents securely and easily. This step really helps not only to organize the documents well but also cut back 90% of waste time on adding passwords to each document before sending them via email and once they are sent it would hard to track what was and as not sent without looking very hard.
