Daniel helped me with my VA loan. He was very responsive and knowledgeable about the process. Would work with him again.

As always Daniel and his team get it done! We had some major hurdles, and they worked hard on getting through them. Both Melissa and Daniel were very patient in answering all of our questions, and really doing right by us. This is our 2nd time using The Lehman Group, and will continue to use them in the future! 100% recommend Daniel and his team. read more

Absolutely incredible! My friend recommended using Daniel for the VA Loan because of how great he was to work with, even though he's down in SCAL and we're in the Bay Area. I agree 100% and could not recommend him more highly. He provided excellent guidance, was responsive throughout the process, and was significantly more knowledgeable than the other VA loan people I talked to. We didn't think we could use the VA loan because we had an unconventional set of circumstances, but from the beginning he said it would work and it all came together way better than expected. That was all due to Daniel. I'm not sure we would have been able to buy the house without him. read more

Daniel is amazing. I am also a loan officer and have worked with him in the past. He truly cares about all of his clients and has a great history of working with Veterans as well. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. read more

Daniel and Jess are the very best!!! I don't run in homeowner circles and haven't had much luck in the way of lenders. It's really just one of those 'who you know' things that are taken for granted by people who know the right people. Daniel and Jess were amazing through the very short time it took them to make this happen for me. I started with another lender and, after working for nearly three months, giving them every piece of paper they asked for and jumping through every hoop, I turned to Synergy One in desperation. I wish I had started here and you can bet that if I or anyone I know or meet needs a mortgage lender, I will think only of Synergy One. read more

Miracle worker. Bottom line. Daniel and his team made the impossible possible. I am now a proud owner of my second home using my VA loan. Yes, two homes on one VA account. Daniel went out of his way, his creativity and honest approach was second to none. His wealth of knowledge in regards to military and the ins and outs of the VA loan was astonishing. There is no question who I will be working with on my 3rd house, and as for referrals... I sure hope he is ready! :) 15 day escrow! He should win an award! :) read more

Daniel is a kind person who gives you an informed, realistic, optimistic view of what you can afford. He is super attentive and even before we found our realtor, Daniel went the distance to educate us. He helped us get a loan for our first home; it is a home we can afford without stress or worry. We would gladly work with Daniel and Synergy anytime. read more

I was turned down by another lender and then referred to Daniel. He instinctively knew exactly what I needed and got me the loan that I wanted! Very sharp and I would recommend him to anyone! read more

Daniel Lehman and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. The process started with loan prequalification with Daniel, who walked me through how much I was qualified for and we worked out a target price range that would produce a monthly cost with which I was comfortable. Then Jessica, his assistant, personally came out to meet and explain every line item of the inch high stack of paperwork required to buy a home in California. The two were always accessible whether via email or phone and responded promptly to my concerns. They had to tackle some unique zoning issues, but were able to complete the due diligence required to ensure the deal was legally sound. Few other lenders would have been able to do this. It was great having Daniel and his team as true advocates on my side. read more

We have been denied by a different lender for the last 3 years! A friend recommended Daniel in January and two months later we are home owners!!! We cannot thank Daniel enough for his incredible knowledge and creative ways to think outside the box. Melissa and Amber were also super helpful and friendly. They were all a pleasure to work with and will definitely work with them again as well recommend them to our friends and family. Thank you all!!! read more

Daniel & his team are great to work with. They get the job done! As a real estate professional, the lender is the most important player if you are financing your purchase. He is very professional, knowledgeable and good at communication. I highly recommend his services. read more

We have bought and sold 6 or 7 homes in San Diego over the last 30 years. I have never encountered a mortgage person that is even close to Daniel. He even helped me with a re-fi that he was not involved with. I am not say enough good things about him. read more

A BIG thank you to Daniel, Jessica, and the rest of the Synergy One Lending Team! As a first-time buyer I had no real idea what to expect; luckily Dan and Jess did. From day one Dan was educating me and explaining the process and the potential pitfalls I could encounter along the way. I even shopped around with other banks and Dan, knowing this, never tried to push me one way or the other. He only promised that he and his team would do everything they could to make sure I was holding the keys to my new home at the end of the process. Being a veteran, I believe that veterans have an unspoken bond and should stick together, so I stuck with Dan. Turns out I was lucky I did because I ran into a few obstacles that I was only able to overcome due the Dan and Jess' espertise! I sign my closing documents tomorrow and I honestly believe that this would not be happening had I worked with anyone else. If you are looking to purchase or re-finance a home (especially using VA) and you don't at least give them a call, you are making a HUGE mistake! read more

Absolutely awesome customer service. Jessica was amazing-she held my hand through the whole process and was attentive and thorough. They reduced my interest rate by a full percent and got me out from under PMI! Just an awesome company to refinance with :) read more

I simply cannot recommend Daniel and his team highly enough. I have worked with him on literally dozens of transactions, and he always provides the highest level of service. What I appreciate most are his integrity and willingness to help, even if he isn't going to be the person doing the loan. He really wants everyone to make a good decision and to understand the loan process. As a client of his, I also appreciate his availability and his easy communication style. He's friendly and engaging; simply put, he's easy to work with! I trust him 100% with my home loan needs, and I'm a picky customer! read more

Daniel is a star! He was an integral part of my real estate team. He was recommended by my real estate agent Kimberly Schmidt, so trusting her judgment I contacted Daniel. I was expecting some smooth-talking banker but he was extremely personable and matter-of-fact. He kept me informed and talked me off the ceiling a few times when I received my disclosure documents. He was always available and prompt to answer questions and make sure I was knowledgeable and comfortable with the process. He even took the time to laboriously review escrow documents with me so there were no surprises once the escrow process ended. He was a real champ, and I would heartily and swiftly recommend him for financing needs. read more

I worked with Daniel recently on the purchase of my first home. I had a quite unique and tricky situation, but Daniel worked with me to make sure I would get the best mortgage possible. My realtor was Kimberly Schmidt with whom he had worked with in the past which really seemed to help move the process along. I had contacted a few Mortgage brokers before working with Daniel, unlike the others, Daniel was patient and willing to explain all of my options so that I was able to understand clearly and make an informed decision. I would definitely recommend working with Daniel! read more

Daniel is amazing it is just that simple. He has a very fresh new approach to lending that helps the borrower/buyer totally feel at ease during the whole transaction. My client is purchasing her first home and she has been fully educated on the process each step of the way. Daniel sends out status updates and videos to the realtor and the clients so that there is no need to wonder where the deal is at in the process. He has surpassed my expectations and I am happy to refer him and his team at Synergy One Lending! read more

I was referred to Daniel by my real estate agent and after our first meeting I knew my search for a lender was over. His commitment to helping me understand the process of getting a mortgage and understanding every angle was exactly what I was looking for in a lender. Daniel, Amber, and Brandi absolutely fantastic team! We had great education, information, and questions were always answered throughout the home mortgage lending process. This was our first home purchase and we did a lot of research before selecting a lender. Hence this team lives up to the highest standards! read more

We had an excellent experience working with Daniel and the Synergy One Team on our VA loan. Daniel was always available to hop on the phone and explain things in detail whenever we had questions, he and the team were clear and up front on what to expect with the mortgage process, and we were able to close very quickly. We would absolutely recommend them! read more

Daniel and his team are AMAZING. We just purchased a home with his help and couldn't be happier. We were first time home buyers and Daniel was so incredibly helpful, every step of the way. Service is a huge deal to me and Daniel and his team are is fantastic at it! We had so many questions along the way as the mortgage process is very complicated - and we never felt let down. We have dealt with a few mortgage brokers and direct lenders in the past and were disappointed - some were flaky and never got back to us, some basically lied to us - none of this happened with Daniel. He really took the extra steps and it worked out really well for us. I highly recommend Daniel in your home purchase or refinancing. You won't regret your choice! read more

Daniel Lehman delivers trust and peace of mind. He helped us get our first home a few years ago, busting his rear during Christmas break, and interrupting his family time to make sure the deal went according to plan. When you are talking to him, you can really tell that he cares about the long term relationship and quality of service. He wants you to understand the situation and his team will get back to you with emails or phone calls anytime you need them to. Recently he helped us to refinance our house and again, he delivered. With things as important to me as my family and home, it is a huge blessing to have someone like Dan Lehman, on my side. read more

We actually were referred to Daniel through our real estate agent, Kimberly Schmidt. My husband and I were originally going to use the San Diego credit union for our loan funding, but when we finally found a house we liked and needed to get a pre-approval letter to make an offer asap (you know how fast the San Diego real estate market is ) - our bank was closed because it was a holiday weekend! So as a favor to our real estate agent, Daniel met with us at the last minute (on a holiday no less) and was able to go over our finances and get us a pre-approval letter by the end of the day. Not only that, but he went above and beyond to get us the same interest rate as the credit union in order to keep our business. We have been nothing but pleased and impressed with Daniel and his team. Daniel and the production manager, Kirk, always respond to us in a timely manner, are quick to answer questions and explain everything. They do their best to make sure you are comfortable with the numbers and the parameters of the loan before moving forward, which is especially important when making a big financial commitment. Even when we weren't sure if we wanted to use Synergy, Daniel and his team still followed up with us and processed our loan just in case so that we could close on time. They made sure our escrow went very smooth and got everything done in a timely manner. We even had the option of closing early! I honestly believe part of the reason we got our dream house was because of the efficiency and time sensitive information that Daniel and his staff provided. We may have had a different experience if we had used another lender. Thank you for helping us get our dream house, Daniel! read more

Daniel was great and explained everything involved in getting a loan for my first home purchase. He appreciated my accelerated time line with getting me approved and closing. Kirk was great too and reminded me that this is what they do all day long when I was getting anxious about the whole process. Niki is the friendly first contact on the phone and at the front that makes you feel welcome and important. Thank you all for getting me through this. read more

My husband and I just closed on a home in San Diego with Daniel's help. When we first met Daniel, we were blown away by his professionalism, organization and knowledge. Daniel was recommended to us by our agent so we already felt like we could trust him from the beginning. And he did not disappoint! Daniel and his team (including Sabrina) were so quick to respond to our questions and really walked us through the process of getting a loan. We are really happy that we used Daniel and his team at WJ Bradley and would recommend him to family and friends. read more

Daniel was a tremendous help re. financing advice. My husband and I found a thread he had commented on on Trulia and emailed him because he seemed very knowledgeable regarding mortgage financing and we had a unique situation we needed some guidance on. He emailed back and answered our questions and proved to be a great resource! We're across the country, so we can't use him for actual financing, but we received valuable advice for our future financing plans that we just weren't getting with the mortgage specialist we were working with here in Indiana. Wish we had his kind of guidance here at home! read more

To post a positive review of Daniel Lehman does not in itself do justice to the extraordinary service he and Synergy One Lending rendered with my HARP refinancing loan. He took what amounted to an unnerving Freddie Mac system valuation glitch and turned it into a positive for me while Synergy One bore the brunt of unexpected costs in order to provide the funds needed because Dan is a man of his word. I've experienced ten other refinancing transactions, and this additional one was by far the most professional and accommodative refinancing I have enjoyed to date due to Dan's expertise, flexibility, creativity and integrity. I am so fortunate to have chosen him as the complexity of handling my loan would have deterred or stopped other less flexible or strictly profit-motivated mortgage lenders. Thank you profusely, Dan, as well as Jennifer and Sarah and everyone else involved in making this loan happen!! Referrals have already gone to others and will also go to anyone I encounter who will benefit by using Synergy One Lending. read more
