He outlined the subscription services that he provides. After an assessment of the level of care she requires outside of palliative hospice, I felt subscription service may be too excessive in scope and price since she does not see doctors regularly. In any event, I am writing this review to inform readers that this doctor seems to be on the up on up and may be ideal for anyone who wants to control medical expenses while receiving optimum care. I had a doctor at the ER that with all the tests done and the same info I shared, he did not give me the right antibiotic. I had a serious infection and high fever for a week and he doubled the antibiotics I had before I went to the ER... yes, and was charged 1k after insurance. Dr. Ortiz Saved another trip to the emergency room or something worse. I would take a good doctor even if it meant having to deal with some issues with the staff, it might just be uncomfortable to be in that position if you are in need of efficient staff. If you are, the manager resolved my issues when they were escalated, she was kind and made sure everything was okay.

Some physicians make a point to talk down to you or dismiss your concerns, but not Dr. Alprin. I would have to disagree with a previous comment stating that he is just out to make money on your visit by providing you with care you don't need. He is very quick yet thorough. Being in medical billing myself, there are times when your visit is coded based on how much time the physician spent with you or what your actual visit entailed. I'm not sure what his office's criteria is, but that would really not be something I would fault him for. We will continue to see Dr. Alprin and recommend him to anyone looking for a kind, thorough PCP.
