I ran up to drop the car off and go eat lunch... well, the downside was the place I wanted to eat was closed on Mondays, so I just went back to the shop. They had it done already. Yep, fixed my windshield in 15 minutes. That was a month ago and no further damage and I am very happy with what I paid for this repair. A great value overall! Will use again should I need!

When we brought the car in, it was a tiny small area, the size of a mole. After getting resin in the area, the chip looks way worse. There are whisker like lines coming out now in two different directions. I called and they said to bring the car in. So I did. They said there was nothing they could do since the resin was already in. My issue is that these whiskers or whatever the technical term for these lines on the glass were not there before the repair. And since having the repair, they are getting longer. The whiskers reflect the sun in a horrible way. The tall guy with reddish hair (name ????) was an a--hole. Excuse my language. I had to literally tell the guy over and over to get all the glass out of my door, because he wouldnt get all the glass out. When I arrived, the service manager was good at talking with me and understanding what I needed. He arranged for a shuttle back to my house and I only had to wait about 15 minutes. When I picked up the truck the service manager was able to take my payment without me having to stand in line at a cashier. They removed all their paper floor mats and tags when they gave me the truck. Improve: I am always surprised that they do not do a better job on their out briefings. They just take my money, and send me on my way. I would expect that they would review the work order and the result of their inspections, as well as go over when my next service will occur. They also did not have my tire air pressure set identically though this was on their checklist, but the service manager fixed that when I brought it to his attention.

Unfortunately (haha) I've had to have my car at Gerber twice in the last few years. FORTUNATELY,…read moreI've had the pleasure of working with Sarah each time and have been thrilled with her support and the outcome of the work done each time. The first time was substantial damage caused by a deer that ended up taking several weeks. There were issues with getting parts and some engine issues that were challenging, but Sarah was helpful and kept me informed along the way. This last time, was my own carelessness that caused a blemish on my car. I had thought it was just in one spot and Sarah quickly pointed out another part that was scratched I hadn't noticed, so I applaud her attention to detail. The car was ready before schedule and looks fantastic. If I had any criticism, there was a man in their "back office" the last time I was there who I felt was behaving unprofessionally (not to me, but to some of the female employees).

The one star review is only because yelp won't allow a review writer to select 0 stars. I took my vehicle to Gerber collision and glass because they were the preferred collision repair shop recommended by the insurance company. (travelers Insurance) When I dropped it off, 6/24/25, for repair it was Mechanically sound and functioning correctly. I was driving it daily with no issues. The day I was to pick it up, 7/8/25, The sales person and I looked at the repairs they made due to being rear ended about 6 weeks prior. After settling the bill. I got in to drive away and the car stalled and died as soon as I took My foot off the accelerator. I struggled to get it to start again, drove a very short distance and again it stalled and died when I took my foot off the accelerator. I was less than a 1/8 of a mile from the parking lot. I limped the vehicle back into Gerber parking lot and talked with the sales rep managing my claim. They said "we can run a code scan but we are not a mechanic." The sale rep had trouble getting it started to drive it into the garage for diagnostic scan. The Diagnostic scan was performed, they said they would need to tow it to a Mechanic for further diagnosis. Some where in the process of the repairs performed something happened so that the vehicle will not function mechanically. Gerber says they are not responsible for that. Long story, short, it's 7/18/25 and I still don't have a vehicle returned functioning properly. When I take a vehicle to have repairs made I expect to get the vehicle back functioning in the same manner, hopefully in better condition than the way it was taken to the place to have repairs made. Lesson learned: Test drive the vehicle Prior to paying the final bill.

I just want to say, Thank you so much to Paul! I was recommended to give you a call through a…read moreservice from Donnelly College about my Honda Civic. I talked to Paul the week before and he gave me a time that I could come in to have my vehicle assessed. I told Paul that the time conflicted with my class, and he told me that was okay, transportation could be provided.Samantha made sure that I got back and forth from school, just like Paul had assured me. My experience was professional, courteous and comfortable! I've been having a really hard time finding a decent mechanic being that I lack knowledge for vehicles . Paul drove the vehicle around, and even had someone else check behind him for a second opinion. My check engine light has been on for months, even after I took it to Jiffy Lube, in which wanted to do a transmission flush that would have totaled to $80.00. Paul called me and told me that I only needed an oil change that wouldn't even cost half the price of the service Jiffy Lube claimed that I needed. Paul was right because for the first time in awhile, my check engine light is not on! As a matter of fact, I'm just going to be honest, Paul said the oil change was on the house, and that he understands that I am a college student trying to graduate. I was prepared to make another appointment when I could pay him, but he insisted that he took care of the issue so that I could continue my daily commute to campus. It's simple things like this that mean so much to me. I graduate this May, but this journey has not been easy. It seems that everything in my life was trying to stop that from happening, including car problems that have prevented me from attending class several times. The fact that the mechanics took the time to be honest with me about issues, and not adding to it for personal gain, means that Roe Body Shop has strong core values such as integrity and honesty. This is truly a service that cannot be bought, and I Thank you Paul, Samantha and fellow mechanics for showing human, unbiased, and generous care for your guest! .
