He is also very accurate on his assessments. Anthony took the time to guide us through every aspect of our project, be it coming to the store with us to pick materials, giving his point of view when solicited, and helping us understand the pros and cons of the selections we were making. He did his best to keep the areas clean as much as possible. I love my new bathroom. Anthony did a great job and when I look at it now, I realize that it looks better than I had imagined! It is built very precisely and the tile work is perfect. The project would have been a 5 star experience had the timing been more what we had discussed and expected vs. wrapping it up 7 to 9 days passed schedule. Anthony did his best to make it up to us and was always very profesional about things. I would work with Anthony again and would recommend him to my family and friends. I plan to work with Anthony in the remodeling of my kitchen. I will then be more realistic about timing and set myself up with better precautions, knowing that this is always a risk we take when working with any contractor or construction. I am sure Anthony will continue building a very successful and customer filled contracting company. He is honest, very dedicated, produces quality work and does all he can to keep his customers satisfied. Thank for a job well done!

He opened the wall between our kitchen and living room - and what a perfectionist! He matched the opening to the architecture of the remaining house - customized the molding, saddle and fine trim to exactly replicate those openings that were already in existence. This is perfection! Never seen anyone so passionate, diligent and clean. Everyday after he finished, he made sure the house was back in working order - not a speck of dust anywhere. HIGHLY recommend him for any renovation project. If he is available to work for you, you are fortunate indeed!!

I submitted a glowing review and recommendation of Renaissance Renovations in 2020, but…read moreunfortunately, I need to rescind that. As part of our apartment renovation, Renaissance installed a stacked washing machine and dryer. Because of the amount of energy each machine requires, they needed to be on separate circuit breakers, and Renaissance identified each of them as being on their own breaker in the electrical panel that Renaissance installed in our apartment as part of the job. Last week our dryer stopped working. During the service call, the technician discovered that Renaissance had installed BOTH the washing machine and the dryer on the circuit labelled Dryer and neither of them on the circuit labelled Washer. This, according to the appliance repair tech, was the cause of the damage to our dryer. We called David, the owner of Renaissance Renovations, to have him rectify the situation that was caused by his electricians. We did not ask him to cover our out of pocket expenses for the repair--which were considerable--but only to move the washing machine to the circuit that it was supposed to be on. David refused. He said the electrician he had used on our job had passed away and, when I pointed out that we hired Renaissance and not the electrician, he said that the one-year warranty on the job had expired. He flatly refused to stand behind the work that his company was responsible for even though there was absolutely no way we could have known about the improper installation until last week when our dryer failed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend any company that will not stand behind its work.

Beware! Don't let Louis fool you---I was fooled…read more They won the bid for a large project on our house in Westchester and clearly did not understand the scope of the job they were taking on. Once they realized they might lose money, they cut corners everywhere, tried to charge us for items included in base scope of work, and stopped paying their subcontractors. We ended up taking over the job and paying the subs to get our project completed. Definitely make sure you have a good lawyer--we needed ours to deal with them. If you HAVE to use them, make sure to get a solid contract that obligates them to fix things they damage during the job and limits what they can charge extra for. Be mindful of the existing conditions clause they will seek. Also, watch out if they try to sell you cabinets from Hallmark. Very poor quality for the premium price and the vendor does not stand by their product. The owner completely blew us off when we tried to get repairs. Our cabinets are only two years old and we will probably need to replace / refinish them entirely because the paint is literally peeling off.
