I understand they contract out for delivery , so the following comment is in no way a poor reflection on the store. Ladies, be sure to have a man present when your order arrives. The driver was rude , dropped my palettes causing damage, threatened to leave the tile on the street in front of my house and cursed like a sailor because he didn't approve of my homes driveway. BTW , all of this took place in outside the rain . After much drama and my threat to return the entire order he carelessly unloaded the truck. I had to call friends to buy tarps and bungee cords to protect the grout and mud cement until help arrived. In the pouring rain, with the assistance of two friends , we carried the entire order weighing 1800 pounds, to a safer place.

Hello- I had the…read moreChester County team out to quote/replace the frankly nasty white carpet in the master bedroom suite that came with the house. Kim the designer visited us twice and spent a good amount of time teaching me and my son all about the various types of hardwood, etc. She helped us narrow down to something that would look great and last for a long time. These scraped hardwood floors are awesome! The professionalism of the company was incredible and when Kim came back a second time I signed on the spot. Their installation crew was quiet, clean and respectful of my home. The only negative was that the wood had to be delivered to the house early to acclimate to our home's humidity - but that wasn't really an annoyance, and I learned that any company that doesn't do it shouldn't be installing wood floors. In short, it was refreshing to work with a company that was responsive and with people that go the extra mile to get the job done. You get what you pay for and I am extremely pleased with Floor Coverings International. I'll be reaching out for area rugs in the new year. Thanks.

I felt very comfortable with him and his father working in my home while I was out of town and at work. My only complaint was that there was dust all over my apartment after the demolition. I've held off leaving a review until he finished my second project because he's a hidden gem. Once people realize how talented he is, you'll have to join a waiting list to hire him. Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Lastly, he's a friendly guy. I know it can feel awkward having a stranger in your home. Not with Mike. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and you'll be friends in no time.
