Aaron was patient and open to showing us other custom homes he had built. He pays attention to detail, he explains everything and we were always in the loop. We had heard horror stories about builders so we were wary. However, Aaron was available 24/7 even when I had crazy questions and thoughts. We stayed on almost completely on budget and when we picked things that were over budget, we were told about it in advance. We got everything we wanted. I will recommend Evans to anyone who are wanting to custom build.

First, the backhoe driver that was grading the land ran into my retaining wall and would hot have said anything had I not come home and caught him. He was trying to just get out of it until I told him I was going to make an insurance claim against him and started taking pictures. Then he decided to offer to fix it and took a week to do it. THE WALL THAT IS HOLDING UP MY HOUSE!!! Next, their workers stole my water from my outside spigot and caused my water bill to double. Then I got video of them stealing my neighbor on the other side's water after I confronted them about mine. I verified with the tenant and the owner and they did not have permission to hook into their spigot. Now, one of their brick layers has side swiped my car while going in and out of the driveway causing significant cosmetic damage to my back quarter panel. When I have called the owner to address my issues he just denies and ignores me. The builder is never at the property making sure that his subcontractors are being respectful. They leave their half-eaten food and trash on my retaining wall and it ends up littering my driveway, yard, and the yards around me. There is no accountability for these subcontractors and the way the owner is just brushing me off is despicable. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR NEW NEIGHBORS TO HATE YOU BEFORE YOU MOVE IN!

They are the best in town and I won't use anyone else to do remodeling or additions to my homeread more

He helped us navigate the insurance process, including denials, for over 3 months. He tarped it during the multitudes of storms we received as well. Once approved, less than a week, and we are enjoying our new, beautiful, well-crafted roof! He never spoke down to us, respected our time and needs, and walked with us completely. During the installation, the team was equally respectful and efficient. At the conclusion, you would never have known they were there. Everything was returned to its original places, not a bit of trash or product remaining, and the only sign was the new roof! With the top notch roof, we also expect to save about 25% on our insurance!

But JP Homes has been the ONLY one that refused to stand by their work. I'd not even been in my home 4 years and already replaced 3 major appliances because this builder buys cheap, in bulk and then stores them offsite for years before installing them; thus voiding the manufacturer warranty. The paint was never primed and is peeling in every room, not to mention the pathetic job with no crisp edge lines ANYWHERE. The master bath faucet crumbled in my hands the first time I turned the water on. Galvanized pipe was used to install the water heater and blew out after 4 years creating a flood in my garage. They refuse to answer their phone (once they flag your number) or return voicemails and even ignore social media  messages (which as you know you are alerted that they have read them). Unprofessional and plain heartless as I have been disabled and unable to work the past year due to a traumatic leg injury. I paid 300K cash for this house and was treated this way. AVOID!

He sent me photos along the way of the project, and the floors were in pretty rough shape. Hard-core staining, someone had written on some of them, there were places we weren't sure what was on the floor, but Morgan got it up and you can't tell anything was ever wrong. By the time I was on my way back home, I had a whole new set of photos of the finished product and I was in awe. They were absolutely pristine and I couldn't wait to see them in person. Even today, 5 years later, they still look as wonderful as they did when he refinished them. Glossy, beautiful, and everyone comments on them. There were many cracked trim boards and I had one fascia board that woodpeckers had damaged over the years. I selected All Oklahoma Roofing and Construction for two reasons: 1) That had excellent BBB and customer ratings. 2) Their bid was much lower than the other bidders. Three subcontractors came to do the work. 1st) Did the carpenter repairs which took about a week. 2nd) Primed all the new bare wood and double layered the house with Sherwin Williams Super Paint which I had to pay extra for and well worth it. This took about 4 days. 3rd) New gutters to the new trim which was completed in two hours. All three subcontractors for All Oklahoma Roofing and Construction did a very expert job and I'm very happy with the results. I recommend anyone looking to have their house painted to go with this company. The job will be done right!
