We had married less than a week before and were driving to St. George for some warmer temperatures. The weather turned rainy and cold, I was exhausted and prone to catch colds. By the time we found our hotel, I was feverish and had tripped and fallen in the hallway to our room; my leg and shoulder were aching as was my head. After one night of very litle sleep we decided to turn around and drive six hours back home. my daughter advised me to go to the ER or to an Insta-care. We arrived at Sterling Urgent Care and were advised to go to go direct to the ER. Several hours later I was admitted to the hospital where I stayed for three nights with Influenze A. Every one was so attentive and helpful. Recovery was slow but not as bad as it could have been if we had not been advised to go direct to the ER. A few weeks after the December/January 2026 holidays I received what I assumed was a bill for $55.00 from Sterling Urgent Care. I wrote a check and sent it off to Sterling, The check cleared my bank account so I figured everything was fine. Since sending the check, I have received a bill for $55.00 and two other requests for payment. I have paid my Bill, my check has cleared my account. any future Bills for this payment will be returned to sender. This letter finally settles my account. When I checked in they said I had to pay $140 to be seen and that my bill could range from $140-$350 depending on the visit. I paid the $140. After the MA took my vitals the provider came in (looking very annoyed) and used his phone flash light to look at my throat. We talked about antibiotics for about 30 seconds, and he said he would send out a prescription to the closest pharmacy. The end! Nothing else happened. I got a bill later for $210. The lady on the phone first said I was charged more because of the severity of the visit. What???? A sore throat is severe and puts my bill up to the maximum they said they'd charge??? Then she said it costs more because I was a new patient and they had to put all my info in. There was no info. I didn't give them insurance, and the only info they got from me was my name, phone number, and address. Was in town headed to Preston (Napoleon Dynamite fan). Had horrible pinched nerve in back and found this place. 10/10 from the front desk, nurses and providers. Even helped with follow-up calls and prescriptions. I honestly can't them enough. Totally blessing and they're so pleasant to deal with. This is how healthcare should be done. The dr told me I possibly had a pulmonary Embolism and there was nothing he could do for me there. He sent to me to the ER where I was charged thousands of dollars to find out nope, not even close. I understand he was being cautious. However, what was wrong was very very simple! I paid cash pay up front. I was told that was what I owed. Later I got another bill. For approx. 80$ I called, they said it was a mistake and would fix it. Well I just received another bill for the same amount. They also called me. They were unwilling to honor what I was told. Went in because I developed my bi-annual seasonal allergies sinus infection, and just needed an antibiotic. Received the most condescending & judgy bedside manner from the attending physician as well as the resident student. During the interrogation about my allergies, I jokingly said, "yea, I'm allergic to Utah terrain". The student promptly replied snarkily "You can cure that by moving out of Utah". Then during my exam, the physician grilled me about what brought me to Cache Valley. Maybe it was my lavender hair or tatts they didn't approve of. Or maybe they didn't like the fact I knew what was wrong with me being an educated woman who listens to my body. Whatever. They'll never get my business again. P.S. they told me they excepted my insurance. However, they don't apparently and I got a bill that I didn't expect for a service that I could've received for free from a friend who is a PA that was just a half hour away. I had already met my deductible, so I thought why not Sterling is closer. totally regret that now. They send you to collections within like a month of getting your bill even while you're trying to talk to them weekly and your insurance about what's going on. Never been sent to collections before. They say it's in-house collections but it's still not fun to get letters and phone calls from someone that says they're collections. they were not willing to work on fixing their mistake at all and I know it can be done because I work in a medical/mental health field and we adjust client's bills all the time. Was told a Covid test would cost $155, which I paid. Returned from my trip overseas to find a bill for another $40, which they tacked on "because they could". Apparently the office visit was $140 and the test $55. So it's not like they charged for office visit, then added the test. Totally random. Billing said it was explained in the fine print of paperwork I signed that they could charge more. Totally unethical organization. Avoid at all cost. My son went here to get a covid test, there was no sign indicating that it would cost money, they said that it only costs money if you don't have insurance. Well, it it is $55 to get the same covid test that you can get for free elsewhere. The "office visit" was an hour wait and a couple of minutes with the doctor, and that cost us $140. He didn't want or ask for a visit with the doctor, he just wanted a rapid covid test! Deceptive and dishonest, exorbitant rates, we will never be back and will be certain to tell everyone we know about it. read more

I have been seen by the South Sterling Urgent Care several times now and I cannot say enough good about them. Christopher Morgan has taken care and listened to me. It is very comforting to see someone that remembers you and takes a personal interest in you as a person, They are very perfessional with enough laid back to put you at ease. If you have a problem that needs more than they can do. Christopher Morgan has no problem telling you that you need to be followed up with a specialist. I appreciate the straight forword and honest approach that is taken. The whole staff is very friendly and you feel taken care of. My husband asked me to take him to the doctor this evening and I chose Sterling based on their hours; they close at nine. We arrived at 7:45 PM and were seen within 20 minutes. Aria was the receptionist; she took care of the paperwork, which was brief and straightforward, quickly; there were no surprises on the insurance end of things. We worked with Rebecca, Sabrina and Raquel. My husband received a nebulizer treatment, a chest x-ray, and his first dose of medication at the office, since all of the pharmacies are closed. We looked at the x-ray with Sabrina and she explained what the x-ray showed. We didn't feel scared to ask questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Sterling Urgent Care to anyone seeking medical attention given with compassion. read more

Christopher J. Morgan FNP-C is the Owner/Medical Director of this Urgent Clinic. One of my worst fears came true during my recent road trip, I got sick, and my new health insurance hadn't kicked in yet. I was going to have to pay out of pocket, and I was in the middle of nowhere. My friend did a Google search and found great reviews on this urgent care facility, which was just a short distance out of our way. It was $60 flat fee for an office visit, which is very affordable. I hit the timing right as there was no line at the time. I wasn't feeling well at all, and was nervous about the long paperwork, the check in process was painless and quick as they had a completely paperless process via a tablet. I was also able to pay with credit card. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and Christopher was great. I never felt forced to do anything, and he gave me different options and alternatives with the cons and pros of each. He even told me which pharmacy to go to in town that would give me the cheaper rate out of pocket. I was feeling horrid going in, and started feeling better in a short time. Christopher fixed me up, and even took a follow up call to ensure I was doing OK and on the right track. He cares about people and wants them to be healthy. Hours of service are very convenient: Mon - Sat 10am - 10pm, only exception is Wednesday 8am - noon. Sundays are by appointment. I also liked that the place was clean. I thought by going to Sterling Urgent Care I would have had a better experience than going to a hospital, that absolutely not the case. The actual care was mediocre, and the billing, and trying to get my xrays and information to another doctor was an absolute joke. I was told by 3 different people at the clinic that I had 30 days to sign up for their membership which could save me money. Not one of those 3 people said that only applies if they don't contact your insurance. I was never given the option to self pay. About two weeks after I visited the clinic I called to try and sign up for their membership plan. Only to be told I couldn't because they already contacted my insurance. So now I'm stuck with a bill twice what the membership would have cost and the best they can do for me is a 6 month payment plan or 15% if I pay in full now. What an absolute joke. I would never recommend them to anyone. Be warned, they will scam you out of money and blame it on a "miscommunication". I totally get the law of insurance fraud, I'm not asking them to commit insurance fraud. I'm asking them to step up and fix the issue when three of their staff told me one thing, only to find out it's another. read more

Absolutely the worst medical visit of my life. Dr. Morgan was hanging out with a dog on his lap when I arrived. He came into the examination room and spent approximately 2 minutes with me. He told me he can do nothing, that I need to see a specialist and in the meantime he prescribed me an antibiotic. My calculations show based on what I was charged, Dr. Morgan's hourly rate is $2250.00 an hour. When I asked Accounts receivable to offer me a discount on my bill, I was told absolutely not. Such terrible customer service will force me to tell everyone I know, including people of the internet that Sterling Medical has a lot to learn about the customer experience. read more

I STRONGLY urge you to seek medical care elsewhere, from an honest and ethical provider!!! Last July I needed to have a release signed to begin a new physical fitness training program required for my work. I called my regular IHC doctor and found out he was on vacation and it would be 3 weeks before I could get in. I needed the form signed that week, so I called Sterling Urgent Care, who said they could get me right in. When I arrived at their south Logan location the receptionist told me she needed to verify my insurance for coverage, which I gladly agreed to because I wanted my visit to be covered. It took almost 30 minutes to fill out all of their new patient paperwork, and for the receptionist to verify my coverage. I was then told, "OK, we've verified your coverage and your good to go" and shown to a room to wait for the doctor. Shortly thereafter a nurse or MA came in and took my basic vitals - height, weight, blood pressure, O2 sats, etc. a few minutes later a PA, not a doctor, came in. (I have worked in the medical field most of my life and know and appreciate the differences in the two. I also appreciate that a PA is fully qualified for these type of visits). The PA asked what I was being seen for, and I informed him that I simply needed a form signed to allow me to begin my new training program. He took a few seconds to glance through the form, asked me if I felt healthy enough to begin the training, to which I replied of course. He then listened to my heart / lungs, through my t-shirt with his stethoscope, and signed the form and left. I was done, in and out of the room in about 5 minutes. Fast forward to the end of December - I had received no correspondence from Sterling in the past 5 1/2 months and assumed the bill had been taken care of by my insurance - I received a bill from Sterling in the amount of $499.60. I immediately called Sterling's corporate billing office to find out what was going on. I explained that my insurance should have covered these charges and informed the billing representative that the receptionist had indeed verified my coverage. The billing representative then informed me that my insurance did not cover any of my visit. I told her that was not correct as the receptionist in Logan had taken a lengthy amount of time to verify my coverage. The corporate rep then stated that the receptionist had not been verifying my coverage, only verifying that I had insurance??!!? I replied, "Of course I have insurance - I gave her my information." She then replied that they do not verify coverage, only confirm that the individual has insurance. I asked why was I told they verified my coverage and that I was "good to go"? The representative told me I should not have been told that, and that they would speak with the receptionist at the local clinic. I then moved onto my second concern - a $500 bill for a five minute, form signing visit. I told her she was out of her mind if she thought I was going to pay them $500 dollars for the service I received. She told me she would have their account adjustment department look into it and get back with me. A couple of weeks later I have received a new bill in the amount of $164.10 - still a ridiculous amount for an out-of-pocket payment for the simple, brief service I received. Bottom line, the receptionist at the south Logan clinic deliberately misrepresented my coverage so that they could provide "service" and then try to defraud me with a huge overcharge! Please tell your family, friends and everyone you know to avoid Sterling Urgent Care. There is much better care available from honest and ethical health care providers out there! read more

As a busy parent with little kids, Sterling Urgent Care has been incredibly useful and accommodating. The online check in is a wonderful option. The staff have always been kind and courteous. The Doctors and PA's are very knowledgeable. They follow up with a phone call later that day or the following day to make sure symptoms are improving. I've been to Mountainview Urgent Care 3 times with my children, and my expectations have been exceeded each time. I've worked in Healthcare my entire adult life and can be very particular when it comes to my kids getting proper care, but Christopher Morgan had nailed it each time we've seen him. Our last visit is what urged me to write this review. My 3 year old son came running in to my room wheezing with a blue tinge to his lips at 10:30 pm. I thought Mountainview was open until 11 and i live close by, so we went there. When we arrived it was dark and the signs said they close at 10. I was desperate and tried the door anyway, finding it unlocked. I found the doctor inside and explained very quickly what was happening. He was very kind and thoroughly examined my son. He treated him with medication given in the office and explained very clearly what course his symptoms would follow and what to do if they didn't. We followed up with him the next day and I'm happy to say my little boy is feeling much better. 5 stars for the much-appreciated after hours time he gave this panicked mother! read more

I've been to this clinic several times and have always been impressed with Dr. Morgan. He has great rapport, even with my teenage son, who can be somewhat of a "tough crowd," especially when it comes to exams from doctors! He always has him laughing and feeling comfortable from the start. Dr. Morgan was especially great today (which happens to be a Sunday). My little daughter cut her finger pretty deep & we thought it might need stitches. We drove to his clinic and called the number on the door once we saw they aren't open on Sunday. I left a message and he called me back within a couple minutes; after a brief conversation & a photo sent of her wound, he said he would be right there. He got there in less than 10 minutes and was just as friendly and kind as ever--didn't seem put out at all that we had interrupted his Sunday. He examined her cut, cleaned it up, and we were on our way before my daughter could finish eating a sucker! He truly went above and beyond. I am so grateful to have such a great medical professional so close and so competent! Definitely beats driving to the ER & the long wait & high fees that go with it (for a non-life-threatening injury)! Thank you, thank you!
