So followed up after a month. After multiple attempt to reach her . I got lucky and got patch with her. When we spoke. She forgot she told me she will email me requirement . Yh bec it's been that long. Hey, That's fine . We missed stuff sometimes. What really makes me shake my head is when I told her I am awaiting for her email so i called to follow up. She got so defensive and said I'm so busy just find somebody else to do it. And hang upnon me so she doesnt listen to what I have to say . I dont usually write review. I always left a message at reception. Bot sure if she gets it or not. They always say shes always in meeting and dont return call. Sooo hard to reach like literally need to beg her. Very Bad service. Zero customer care .

I am inspired to register my very high regard for this accounting firm and its principal. If the…read moresingle negative review here is creditable at all (and I very much doubt it's the whole story-- perhaps its writer failed to understand the GST procedures one can find online as well as any synopsis Jane may have volunteered during an initial phone call, then expected more free work) -- but I want to offer my entirely different testimony. I have been relying on Jane Burns for years for accounting help, and have raved about her services to many many people over those years. I know first-hand how seriously concerned a working professional of Jane's integrity is, to keep the firm answerable to her own name's imprimatur for quality. I can only testify that her calm, kindness and capability have been an indispensable comfort to someone like me, who has no aptitude for keeping my records straight in proper conformation to the rules and regulations of two countries at once, even after I look up every possibly online resource. I couldn't be more grateful for her skills and cooperative performance over the years-- I'm 73 years old and have had to travel a great deal-- so I'm comparing her record to that of many other accounting firms-- she's one of the top two I have EVER worked with--out of many internationally distinguished firms.

I loved the prompt, friendly & professional service I received immediately over the phone... I…read morerequested to drop in (I like good ol' fashioned in person exchanges) and was helped immediately with no wait. Becky was extremely knowledgable, and I felt completely confident in her experience and professionalism. She went over the application thoroughly and with transparency and explained my options well. On top of it all, the cost was almost half what I was quoted at two other companies!!! I love that this place is family owned and operated - you felt the pride and integrity throughout the interactions, and I love that I was dealing with real people who care. I highly recommend Thunderbird Insurance Brokers for all your insurance needs.

The person that answered…read moretold us "if there is mould, you've had this problem for a long time, and we don't cover it". and she refused to send someone to check the situation. We had to insist they take a look and a week later, finally the inspector took a look. The mould was separate from the flood and they ended up covering it. Your insurance agent shouldn't be trying to stop you from being covered. Do they get a kickback if they dissuade you from making a claim? Such poor service. Apparently this person is the daughter of the owner. Maybe she is not properly trained, but this service is unacceptable.

As a woman with only a basic understanding of personal finance, working with Brenda has been really helpful. She's even called the CRA for me when I didn't understand and email I got from them. They are also affordable, and I paid a much more doable rate than I ever did for half the service in Vancouver. Thanks so much. Highly recommend! She assured me she had a PTIN, and asked if a video meeting would reassure me(I live in a different province). I reiterated that the credentials would help me to go forward, in a friendly manner, as I felt a bit uncomfortable asking. This is what she emailed me back(draw your own conclusions - it certainly told me enough): "Good Day Audrey, I cannot  provide you with my PTIN number via email- It is like your tax data- confidential information. DO NOT RECOMMEND!…read more Think it's important to share that the service Scott and his dad provided for years was truly amazing ! Family and friends went their. After going last year, being promised a price for myself and my child whom would be a simple entry- I was charged much more. Things that I have always used and applied to my taxes they wouldn't. I was charged much more than promised. Missing signed forms, and a few other issues. Unprofessional conversations while I was in there. Sadly I would not recommend focus tax under the new ownership. I rather pay a little more and get exceptional service and accuracy. Family and friends have reported the same and have had major mistakes made last year. My brother in law and parents had also always gone here and will not this year.
