The good thing about that fact is you don't have to play golf to have a great time here. My daughter chose this place to begin her birthday celebration. We arrived and played for two hours. We played four different games and I won two of the games. Not bad for a non golfer. They offer a variety of clubs to use to launch those golf balls. Each bay offers a playing area, screens to observe your ball, couches to sit on and a big table for food and drink. It was a very comfortable day so no fans were needed and we enjoyed some drinks along with their chicken fingers and fries. The food is really good and the drinks were yummy. We ended up paying $63 for two hours of play plus drinks and food so I think we spent a little over $200 for the four of us in total. A little spendy but birthdays are a special occasion. Staff were very attentive and kept the drinks coming along with anything else you might need. I appreciated the excellent customer service that was provided. In addition to the golf games, there is a corn hole game, big screens to watch the LA Dodgers play ball, and two pools. Plenty of parking in their huge lot. FUN FACT: This property once hosted the MGM Theme Park which was launched in 1993. It finally closed in 2002. There may be a caddy at Platinum Tees you can choose from that can tell you to use a Wedge over a 9, utilize a half swing due to wind, and land on the green... but that isn't what WE were really looking for. From the moment I started looking around, the staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. The store was busy, but they still took the time to make sure I was taken care of and never made me feel rushed. I came in with a putter I really wanted, but it was just a little too short for me. They helped lengthen the putter shaft, installed a new SuperStroke grip, and made sure it felt right before I left. They also helped me pick out a new driver, regripped it with a larger grip that fit my hands better, and even helped me diagnose a few issues I was having with my setup. That kind of service makes a huge difference. The best part was that they were helpful without being pushy. They gave great advice, answered my questions, and made sure I had what I needed without trying to oversell me. The selection was excellent, and the pricing was right "on par" with what I was seeing online. I went golfing the very next day, and both the putter and driver were perfect. They were an awesome addition to my golf game, which is great because I need all the help I can get! Let's start with the practice putting green...stakes stuck into the grass (no cups to put to) and it doesn't roll nearly close to how it did on the course. For it being on the strip, pretty understandable that there isn't a long open driving range, there are about 10 bays and you hit into a net. Their practice golf balls and mats are trash, I do not recommend hitting driver or woods. The course doesn't provide water on the course either it be complimentary waters in your cooler or fill stations on the course (it's Vegas, it's fuckin hot). The refreshment cart prices were absolutely ridiculous...proceeded to get a 6 pack of Pacifico cans and was charged $80 bucks! Didn't get anything else after that interaction. The course itself was okay, it was pretty challenging, pace of play was good. After the course we hit their restaurant/bar area, my buddy gets me a Michelada. The server brings the drink over and spills it down my back. She process to laugh and walk away. When I asked for another drink, I had to call her ass out to get a comped one. To end the Bali Hai experience, one of the Valet guys grabbed my Honda key fob out of my friends Volkswagen and decided they were gonna fuckin hold onto it. I get that grabbing it was a mistake, but for fucks sake, put it back in the car. I ended up leaving Vegas without my Honda key. My girlfriend had to meet me with a spare an hour away from home so I could get my car out of a parking structure. I called the pro shop, they advised me that they had the key and that I should provide them with a FedEx label so they could ship it back. Never acknowledged their screw up and expected me to pay for my own shipping. The apology from Sharon was not sincere and they didn't offer shit for their screw up.
