Absolutely beautiful course. Conditions were immaculate. Our caddie, Buddy on this visit was funny and really helped us with reading the greens. Service from the club house to the cafe was top notch.

Just do it. One of the best courses Ive ever played in. Not that it is hard like Bethpage black but it's a total escape into a different world. Peaceful, natural and superb conditions come to mind. Not a sole in front or in back of you. Is it worth the 1250.00 per person? Yes. Just do it.

What an amazing golf experience we had. The course was in excellent condition & for someone who has golfed all over the world, this was one of my favorite courses I've played. Monte & his team made us feel so special & we had a great caddie. Can't wait to come back soon.

This course is amazing as you are in admiration for this Tom Fazio design. Once owned by hotel and casino mogul Steve Wynn, this course has you thinking Augusta, or a North Carolina type of layout. The only golf course that I know of where a limo takes you to and from your MGM hotel (Bellagio, Mirage, MGM, etc). Upon arrivel to the front if the clubhouse, I was met by the GM and my caddy. The GM gave me a tour of the facility and gave a brief rundown of what time to expect for tee off (frost delay) I was the first tee time off and finished in less than 3 hours. Which was perfect do that I could get to a tv to catch most of the football games on and watch the golf tournament that was being held on Kapalua. The locker area had doors with names of pro golfers and famous athletes. The restaurant had some pretty good food as I ate thei Wagyu beef burger. Definitely a try if you're an advocate of beef sandwiches. Now, as far as the course is concerned. Beautiful layout, nice greens, challenging bunkers that will make you regret hitting your ball into them. It's a good thing I had a good caddy. John gave good reads, pointied out where not to hit, and of course where to hit towards. Note:$100 is the standard tip, but give a little more, especially if they were a good caddy. The 17th is one of the signature holes. A par 3 with a wide green but only about 7 yards from front to back. Every hole is prestige, so take it all in when you play here. I'm looking forward to returning here again.

This place is ridiculously awesome. Easily the best golf course in Las Vegas. The course is in immaculate condition and the best part is that there is nobody on the course besides your group and your caddies. I won't do this course any justice with this review as I don't have the words to describe it. The course is sunk below street level, so you can't see any signs of being in Las Vegas. All you see on the horizon are trees and mountain tops. The greens are very fast and always in perfect condition. There are two houses on the property. One is the former residence of Steve Wynn and the other was owned by a former senior executive of Mirage Resorts (before the MGM acquisition). The golf course is very challenging....bring your "A" game. It's not like the other courses in Las Vegas, which are desert landscaped and more like target golf......this is a traditional course and if you didn't know you were in the middle of a desert city, you wouldn't realize it while you were playing. Do not pass on an opportunity to play here.

What can I say? One of the most talked about and exclusive golf courses in the US (at least it was back in the day before MGM bought it over and opened it to their guests). The whole course is really stunningly beautiful... they've got all kinds of wildlife here like flamingos, deers, and I can't remember what else. Oh and of course there are snakes :) Very traditional looking clubhouse/locker room, a nice dining area overlooking the 18th hole, but the food is nothing to brag about... (I remember the Kobe beef noodle soup I ordered for $80 that was complete garbage). I've played here a handful of times and each time has been absolutely amazing. The course condition and the greens are wonderfully kept (what do you expect since they only allow 10 groups a day or something ridiculous like that). It seems like there is always a celebrity playing here at any given time. One time Michael Jordan was a few groups in front of me, another time Willy Nelson was on the driving range right next to me. Caddy's are a requirement here. They will ride standing on the back of your golf cart and you get 1 caddy for each group of 4. All are very nice and professional and will give you tips on your swing as well as help read the line on the green for your putts. I haven't been back since MGM bought this place but if you get the chance to play don't hesitate and just do it. You can thank me later.

I don't think there's a golfer out there that would talk bad about this place. Once inside its easy to forget you're minutes from the strip. Service was top notch as you would expect from a course of this caliber. The guy that caddied for us was very laid back and friendly. The only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the food. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

I was very excited to get the opportunity to play Shadow this week. It was everything I expected it to be. Great layout, perfect fairways and greens, very friendly staff, and great forecaddies. If you get the opportunity, you have to play it!

I'm not sure why all the ones are reviews are coming in... And I'm rather picky lol…read more I played Aliante Golf Club today and honestly, I was very impressed. The course is fairly priced, and the fairways and greens are in great condition. The fairways are wide open, which makes it easy to find your ball and keeps the round moving. It's forgiving but still fun -- you can score out here if you're hitting it halfway decent. One thing I really appreciated is that even though the areas off the fairway aren't lush, they're soft and very playable. Unlike Legacy Golf Club, where anything off the fairway feels dead and muddy, here it's clean and easy to hit out of. Big difference. Only downside: the cart girl came by on the third hole and then not again until 18. That was a little disappointing on a warm Vegas day. Overall though, I'll definitely be playing here a lot more often. Very happy walking away with an 82 today! Great value and a really enjoyable round.

Fairways and greens in pretty good condition. There's GPS on the carts with pin location and…read moredistance, which is a huge plus for a course that's reasonably priced. There aren't many fairway and greenside bunkers so its not overly challenging from that perspective, however there are a lot off rocks and bushes alongside most of the fairways so fairway precision is important to save your club heads. The bathrooms seemed newly remodelled, were clean, and had a very nice scent. Drinks in the clubhouse are reasonably priced, though service is a little slow. The pace of play can be awful, at times you'll wait about 10 minutes every round, so if you don't allocate 5 and a half hours for your tee time then you likely won't finish. They really need a marshal to regulate all groups. What does help the wait in the summer is that there are trees for shade on most tee boxes.

The CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek - 2020 winner Jason Kokrak.

The CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the CJ Cup was moved from South Korea to the United States…read moreand held at Shadow Creek Golf Course in North Las Vegas. It wrapped up this past Sunday with Jason Kokrak winning his first-ever PGA Tour event. Since its inception in 2017, the Club at Nine Bridges on Jeju Island has been home to the CJ Cup with big names Justin Thomas (2017, 2019) and Brooks Koepka (2018) as the cup's first champions. Relative unknown Kokrak bucked that trend by beating Xander Schauffele, who I was rooting for, by two strokes. Kokrak finished at -20 (70, 66, 68, 64 | 268) and Schauffele -18 (66, 64, 74, 66 | 270). Aside from being moved to the States, this tournament was interesting for a couple reasons: (1) It showcased Shadow Creek, an amazing public* course that had never held a PGA Tour event before. (2) As MGM Resorts International owns the course, BetMGM was all over Golf Channel's TV coverage of the event which included live odds throughout the tournament. *A round at Shadow Creek, like Pebble Beach and other high-end courses, requires a hotel stay; in this case, at a qualifying MGM property. Also, according to Golf Digest, a tee time will set you back $600: https://www.golfdigest.com/story/shadow-creek-how-to-play-the-exclusive-venue-where-tiger-woods-and-phil-mickelson-will-play-the-match. Shadow Creek was designed by the famed Tom Fazio and opened in 1990 as Steve Wynn's personal private course. It's a true oasis in the Nevada desert and anything but natural - just take a look at the Google Earth satellite view: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Shadow+Creek+Golf+Course/@36.2579796,-115.1162291,3567m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xf15ab69d1f0ef012!8m2!3d36.2584295!4d-115.1073027. Shadow Creek looked as finely manicured as Augusta. Rory McIlroy said the course's greens were the best he's ever putted on. High praise. It was a beauty to look at. The course's many (unnatural) trees cast long shadows in the mid-to-late-October sun. The only other time Shadow Creek was featured on TV was on Black Friday 2018 for The Match: Tiger vs. Phil (at first, pay-per-view, but eventually distributed for free due to technical difficulties). The CJ Cup's title sponsor is the CJ Group, a Korean conglomerate that owns brands recognizable in America like Bibigo (packaged food) and Tous Les Jours (bakery chain). K-pop fans are probably familiar with Mnet (K-pop TV channel) and the Stone Music Entertainment label, both of which are ultimately owned by the CJ Group. Korak's 2020 CJ Cup championship trophy looks like a modern stone tablet with Korean inscribed vertically. Wednesday before the event, MGM Resorts sponsored a nine-hole charity match between Kevin Na and Byeong-hun (Ben) An (both of Korean descent) vs. two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler. Watson and Fowler won, but not before Na could snap a selfie before the foursome left the par-3 17th's tee box: https://www.instagram.com/p/CGWI9OvA24F/. In that moment, Na reminded me of me. :)
