Today I got a lesson from PGA Pro Darrell Taylor…read more Sand can be somewhat intimidating to "golfers" like me. To begin with, I'm not a good golfer, 22 handicap. But I love it! What can I say? Before this lesson I often had to use my "hand wedge" after a couple of lost strokes to get out of the sand. I've been told by a number of players, not pro teachers, how to make a/the shot. Somehow their suggestions didn't work for me. Now I know why they didn't work! Darrell gave me clear visual explanations which made, after some practice, getting out of the trap pretty simple. I just need more practice, more practice and more practice. I'll see tomorrow if I can take this lesson to the course. Finally, I'll be back to see Darrell as I develop new and unusual ways of hitting errant golf balls.

There are multiple instructors here so it's easy to find one that clicks. He takes one private lesson and one group lesson a week. It's not cheap here but prices are comparable to other courses. I love that they have a separate lesson facility away from the public driving range and it's own small training clubhouse. The only negative is there isn't a lot of shade here so get your lessons early in the day especially during summer

There was no pressure at all. Now that I've had a couple lessons (with Joel) and practice sessions I can honestly say this was a good choice and I'm very satisfied. They diagnose and explain everything very well. They're generous with their time and patience. They encourage you to excel. But most of all, you get great value for your dollar. So I have to agree with all the other five star reviews. If you're looking for lessons or just indoor practice, I highly recommend Robogolf Pro !

Golfer beware, I'll start off and say the greens were very nice and the course in good shape…read more Now why you should not play this course until it's too hot out and it's slow or they learn how to manage the pace of play. We had an 11:03 tee time and didn't tee off until 11:15am (not the worse), get to the second tee box and waited 5-7 min bc there was a group still on the box while the group ahead of them were on the green (should of been off the box). Then we get to hole 3 (almost 40 min to play 2 holes) wait again 3-5 min. Now this is what made me upset, the Marshall comes by and says" I just want to ask your group to speed up to keep up pace of play" I just ignored him because that was not cool to say, when we were waiting already. Fast forward , 2 hours 45 minutes to play the front and 5 hours 15 minutes to play the round. Horrible Last thing, as local $123 is way to much when Paiute is only $100 and it's in way better shape -Rhodes ranch is only $89 and they in just as good as shape and I have never had a round take over 4 and a half hours at either course. I hope they read this and fix the pace of play problem especially for the price they charge.

Great Facility, Instructors and Pricing…read more My nine year old daughter just had her first lesson with PGA Pro Jeff Gallagher. She's just learning how to golf and we wanted to get her lessons before she picked up any bad habits. She had a great time, learned a great deal and left the course excited at the prospect of the next lesson. The course is fairly close to our home and plays relatively open and forgiving. The club house is very pretty and has dining with a good view of several holes. The practice facility was located at the far end of the driving range in a stand alone building. The building has two indoor instruction areas set up with video to record your swing, Jeff also had an Ipad which he used to record parts of the lesson and provide visual feedback. This was a really helpful part of the lesson. I'm not sure if this is something that's common in lessons now as I took my few lessons long before there were cameras on phones and recording your swing was a big add on cost for a lesson. One wall of the room opens onto the driving range so you're actually hitting indoors out onto the range. It was in the mid-40's during my daughter's lesson so the indoor instruction was welcome but Jeff indicated that they provide lessons outside as well. Towards the end of the lesson Jeff conducted part of the lesson on the putting green which is also part of the practice facility. Though we didn't use them as my daughter is so new to the game the facility also has a chipping area and sand trap. We're both looking forward to future lessons. I'm planning on updating the review in a couple of weeks.

The greens were in great shape and the sand was also in great condition. For the price, this course is a steal! Would highly recommend. Try to get out early if playing in the summer. i wish i could say something positive about this, but unfortunately i don't. i reached out to Brad…read moreYates about possibly taking a lesson or two to brush up my golfing skills. it has been long time since i took lessons at college. he referred me to speak with bob. anyway, Brad sent me email explaining the goal of Golf Schools and mentioned that it would be 300 dollars an hour. keep that in mind, i am Deaf.. communicating with non signer is time consuming. 300 dollars an hour in my case isnt reasonable. if i were to work with Bob and if either of us has to say something. we will have to pause to type back and forth which is taking up so much time. by the time an hour has already come by. i was hoping that he would offer me something like a small discount or longer session. but apparently he has zero sympathy. so it's all about greed and money. this is disappointing and a big turn off. too bad they seemed to be decent people. oh well...

Website was a little confusing on how to book online so a quick phone call to verify the still offered night golf. The employee on the other end was veryyy helpful and walked us thru on how to book. It was easy once we got to the right landing page ~ thanks for the help. When we arrived for our tee time we were greeted by the same person who helped us on the phone, receiving the same kind, friendly & helpful service. We were handed our bucket of balls for driving range, told where to grab our cart and headed out. Pretty views & course ~ Nothing better than be on the links razzing the hubby on how to improve his short game lol Thanks hubby for a FUN time & being a good sport, every now & again I actually play decent but we can definitelyyy return for another rematch next time in Vegas.

The layout is forgiving off the tee with wider fairways than many Vegas courses, making it enjoyable for average golfers. The views of Red Rock are beautiful, and the course is usually in good condition. The practice facilities and staff have always been great. The biggest challenge is the greens. They're large, fast, and have plenty of slope, so three putts can add up quickly. While the course is fairly forgiving, shots that miss too far offline can find very rocky desert areas that are tough on both your score and your clubs, making recovery difficult. Pace of play can also be a little slow during busy times. Overall, it's a fun course that offers a good balance of challenge and playability. It may not be my favorite course in town, but it's one I'd happily recommend and come back to.
