PROS: they have some fun group classes. Erica's dirtylicious class is by FAR the best, followed by Body Pump. the massage chairs are nice (though you can't always get on them). it's also relieving to have a ladies only sauna! the e-gym machines are really cool, it customized your workout to your needs (only this was something the staff never told me was included in my membership. i had been going here for months before i luckily found out...)

My experiences with other gyms, including Planet Fitness and VASA, were straightforward and seamless. Both had clear and convenient processes for enrolling through Fitness Pass. Unfortunately, my experience with the Orem EoS Fitness location was different. When I called to ask how to sign up using Fitness Pass, I was transferred to a membership representative who informed me that I would need to pay an additional $10 per month on top of what I already pay through Fitness Pass. When I asked for clarification, I was told this was essentially because the gym needed to make more than what Fitness Pass provides. This explanation did not seem appropriate or consistent with how the program is intended to work. To verify, I contacted Fitness Pass directly. They confirmed that I should not be charged any additional fee for a basic membership and even offered to join a three-way call with the gym to clarify the situation. However, when I called the gym back just minutes later, I was told that membership staff were suddenly unavailable for at least 30 minutes, despite having just spoken with them. I then contacted another EoS Fitness location in Springville and explained the exact same situation. Their staff immediately clarified that the Fitness Pass fully covers the basic membership and that no additional fee is required. I visited that location in person, received a tour, and completed my enrollment in about 20 minutes, without any extra charges. They also explained that the $10 fee mentioned by the other location applies only to a premium membership and is entirely optional. Due to the conflicting information and lack of transparency from this location, I will be going to the Springville location instead, even though it is farther away. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend confirming all membership details carefully before signing up here.

I have been wanting to get into something like Yoga for a while now. Well recently I had an injury…read moreat work and Yoga was suggested to me for something that may help. I had seen the advertisement Mindpose had where you could get 14 days for $14 and I decided to give it a go. I signed up and went later that night. My first class was absolutely amazing. The instructor was so welcoming and so kind to me. The second class was not as great--I have found that every instructor sometimes has different teaching styles and also different ideas of what the class consists of. With this specific class, we were doing like a two minute plank in a 98 degree room. Whew. I tried another class that was a lot more about meditation. It was interesting but probably my least favorite just because of the several minutes that she had us holding our necks in a position I couldn't do too well because of the injury I still currently have. I understand that we are not being forced to do every move but there is a lot of pressure to follow along and even more when there is not an alternative option being given. We are supposed to be guided and I don't really want to lay there and look like a lazy bones just because I am restricted from doing a certain pose. I loved a bit more of the meditation and I like when they seem to "guide our spirit" by talking to us about life stuff too (like dedicating the class to someone in mind, releasing negative energy). I really love the music and the atmosphere that Mindpose provides for people. The instructors have all been kind and I love the towel we get after. I wish there was a bit more consistency, even the temperature varies 10 degrees and seems a bit unpredictable. The location is very convenient and I enjoy the dim lighting a lot.

ZERO STARS I need everyone that has or is thinking of a VASA gym membership to read this. Don't do…read moreit. I have been charged over $800 in personal training fees even though I will never use their training. I was told in November to not worry about it and it's been taking care of when i asked to no longer receive personal training as it was expensive and i was moving back to texas. what i was told was furthest from the truth as I was texted mid april saying I had 8 $60 dollar training that i had been charged for after my conversation in November being told I no longer need to worry. they asked if i am ever coming in to use the trainings I had unknowingly payed for...? I had said to cancel everything and refund the money to me since i won't be using these trainings and they had said they won't be able to do that. They still charged me for two more sessions after a call and email sent to their "support" saying i will not want any training and a refund. yall they will not listen to their customer and they do not care about you...they care about their money. I am a college student and have never had such little amount of money since attending college. please don't sign up as they will only wish to take your money as i have seen from my experience. Also, if you move in with your parents and give the real excuse of moving somewhere that there are none of their gyms near your new location then they will not work with you as they have said they need utility bills as a proof of move...I don't pay bills for utilities in my parents house. I have no idea how I am going to get this money back and it's been a discouraging and upsetting process and I only hope to protect others from joining this gym. JUST. DONT.
