Adams Carpet One Floor & Home - Shotty trim work

Adams Carpet One Floor & Home

My wife and I just purchased luxury vinyl plank and tile for our home. We did not begin our search…read morewith Adams Carpet, but we chose them for our project. There are several reasons for this. The price we paid for the product and installation was very fair. They sell excellent products all manufactured by well-known, reputable companies. They are a local business with years of experience. Those are excellent selling points in and of themselves, but they were not the deciding factor. Brad Smith helped and guided us every step of the way. He went above and beyond to find answers to our questions since we were far from experts. He was kind, courteous, and extremely professional at every turn. He responded promptly to texts and emails. I could go on and on. Brad is the type of person we all want and deserve when we spend our hard-earned money. Unfortunately, this type of honest customer service is becoming more and more rare. Adam's Carpet, I hope you realize how lucky you are to have Brad working for you! Tom Proctor

I'll start off that Brad Smith was great to work with and Adams Carpet One Floor & Home should be…read morethankful they have him. People like Brad is who builds positive reputations for companies because everything that went wrong, he was all over it to remedy the situation with the hardwood floor installer. The carpet installer was seamless with no issues. Here are the issues we had: The hardwood floor crew got stain on my baseboard trim, few hand prints on my newly painted walls, and on the stairs spindles, skirtboard, and risers. I had to correct myself. He also didn't remove the painters tape on the entire stairs once the job was complete. I had to personally remove. There is a gap behind my 1/2 bath door and another area of my home where the installer didn't run the hardwood all the way to the wall. There are also areas along that wall where the hardwood was run adequately and there is cold air seeping through from the crawl space. We have not remedied this situation yet. On day 1, the helper was removing the 1/2 bath vanity. The helper didn't turn off the water and pulled the water line out of the nut that screws onto the water valve which resulted in flooding my bathroom floor (I actually happened to walk into the house in the middle of the issue). Water was standing on the floor, sprayed all over the walls, and drenched the inside of the vanity. I currently have water staining inside the cabinet from where it was drenched. Helper got the water shut off and said he was going to get everything cleaned up once his boss got back from lunch and have the floor dried before they laid the new hardwood flooring. Someone from the crew went into our personal belongings in the garage and retrieved 3 bath towels and used our baby's bottle container to collect water. The same container that's used to clean my newborn's baby bottles. Needless to say, we had to dispose of the baby container. There is a nail in the quarter round trim that is sticking out - still needs to be fixed or replaced. The floor cracks when you walk on it so I'm not sure if this is from settling or the installer didn't adequately dry the sub floor and there's moisture issues. Last thing is the installer didn't stink behind the toilet and you can see the color difference when you walk into the 1/2 bath because it's In the line of sight.

You have to understand, that for a guy like me, it ain't easy finding a place you trust, then finding the right floors that match your house decor, then finding it at the right price. All of these things become obstacles that you need to overcome in order to find the perfect flooring. Luckily for me, I was fortunate to be recommended Brentwood flooring by my friend and contractor. I went in and spoke to Wes and he directed me to find a number of possible hardwood floor options that were beautiful, that fit my home decor and also fit my budget! So happy! And I was lucky to also find out that they currently are offering 18 months with zero percent financing which will allow me to pay off the floors monthly! I could not be happier! I am recommending to all of my 10,000 friends on yelp, Twitter, Facebook LinkedIn and Instagram to go here first if you need any help with your carpet or hardwood flooring needs!

I had an OUTSTANDING experience with Brentwood Carpets in Cary, NC. I worked with Wes Newsome…read more Wes was responsive by phone and email- always in a timely manner. It was great to have a reliable point person through the entire process. Brentwood called me the day before the installation to confirm, which I appreciated. Installation team showed up the following morning on time. The team consisted of three men- all courteous, experienced, and hard-working. 1650 sq ft of carpet including two staircases, old removed and new installed all in one day. They worked for nearly 12 hours! But I never saw them rush; they took great care in their work. They cleaned up (inside and outside) and vacuumed completely before leaving. I'm so glad we did not go the big box store route. For my wife and me, having Wes as our point person and knowing a high-quality install team would be doing the work were invaluable.

The job was completed professionally and efficiently. The second time service is to replace a worn down carpet in a small room. Tom came out three times to get the best match of the color based on my request. He is very patient, professional and pays a lot of attention to details. The price is also very reasonable. I really appreciate when the business is getting the job done correctly no matter how big or how small it is!

I call them up and Peter comes out later that week with samples. He measures things up and shows me some options that are in-house for quick turnaround. A day later he sends me a couple of quotes with options on the padding so I mull things over. A week later, I decide to pull the trigger on the new carpets and the team at Molina works with me for a convenient installation date. While Home Depot needed 2 or 3 weeks to install, Molina was ready to go, stat! They bill me for half of it on Friday and then come in on Saturday for the install. The technician, Julian installs everything in 4 hours or so and it looks great. Very professional and the communications with the office was excellent. And very competitive prices to beat from a local business. So I can absolutely recommend Molina carpets for your future flooring work. They're responsive, communicate well and provide good value. A big thumbs up from this guy!

We had such a good experience on our initial visit, that when my mom wanted to do the floors in her sunroom, we went back to Jeter's! They had a fabulous selection of indoor/outdoor rugs and we purchased one that lasted for years! Repeat business? You bet!! When I needed a carpet remnant for our spare room, we went back to Jeter's!
