This is a great park for walking, jogging, and leisurely fishing. The park is a large loop with multiple views around the trails. I loved that you could walk across the lake via bridge or walk around it completely. The playground is more for kids 4-10 but with a watchful eye littles 1-3 can have a blast too. There looked like construction for the littles playground coming in the spring. Dogs are allowed on leash so let the dogs out and be sure to clean up after them. This park is very accessible but I did not check the restroom to see if they were accessibly friendly. read more

The bathrooms and splash area are really nice and clean. The water is not the cleanest but if you're just looking to go and enjoy a dip, relax on the beach it will get the job done. There's several walking paths you could walk around the area as well. Lots of kiddos running around enjoying themselves. read more

There is no place better to walk than Stephens Park. The scenery is lovely, it is never crowded on the trails around the park. The Lake is great to view and also to swim in if you wish. The playground always has families with small children enjoying the equipment. There are picnic tables and again people enjoying their time together eating and chatting. The fact that this beautiful piece of land was purchased by the City of Columbia is such a gift to our community for everyone to enjoy for free! read more

This is a wonderful park for fishing, walking enjoying a nice pleasant day. Take your children to the park to enjoy the fountains in the city. There are wonderful areas to walk along and sit to simply enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. With over 3 miles of paths to walk along with a wonderful 1/2 mile walk around Stephens Lake makes this a perfect gem for being located right next to the downtown area of Columbia. Very clean bathrooms and recreational areas make this a Great place to enjoy an afternoon, walk or have a picnic. read more

I went here for Art in The Park and I was surprised by how large this park is! it's very pretty as well. The lake is large and I saw some kids swimming during the event. Ever since I went there for Art in The Park, I've wanted to go back. It's difficult to write a full review because I have only been there once and the park is so big, but when I went, I really enjoyed it. The only downside was the parking. We had to park really far away and walk a long distance to get to the park because of the event. I assume that on a normal day, there would be no problem with parking. There was a lot of grass as well as paved pathways. I think if I took my dog here, she would love it! read more

This park is so, so beautiful. There are lots of parks in Columbia, but before I moved away, this was always my favorite. They have fishing, a cute little bridge over the water where you can have picnics or pictures, two trails, a splayground plus a couple of playgrounds, and tons of spots to have parties. My husband and I used to love coming here in the evenings to get some exercise and see the sunset, but it's beautiful any time of day. There's also TONS of stops and gyms on all corners of the park, so this is an ideal spot for Pokemon Go players. read more

Excellent park. There are playgrounds, swimming, a spray pool and fishing in the summer and sledding in the winter. There is a 2 mile paved track for running or biking. The park is clean and well-maintained and is a safe place to bring your kids. read more

Great trail. It's 1.7 miles around the perimeter. It will make you get a good workout with the slight hills. Very nice for a walk or a run.

Love this park! We come here at least once a week and came almost everyday this past summer. There is so much to do. This park is huge and has multiple parking areas. They have a large beach (sand) swimming area with a nice splash pad for the kids to play, you can lay out in the sand or have a picnic in the grassy area. You can go fishing or canoeing in the lake and there are lots of trails to go walking, running or biking. They have a couple playgrounds for the kids to play. This is also a great place to play pokemon Go..lots of pokestops! Beautiful place to watch the sunset. read more

The two parks are excellent and one is very well shaded for extremely hot days. The trail is very nice for the people who are active or running for cardio. The sprinkler grounds are so cool, it gives you and your children a place to cool down for free. The lake however is not the cleanest. My kids did not have a problem swimming in the water but I preferred not getting in the water. Awesome place for children. read more

I took my kids to the spraygrounds for the first time. Awesome spraygrounds but the area was dirty. I realize this may not always be the case but it was gross the one time I went on a Saturday afternoon. Some parent didn't clean up after their child and left poo on the rocks. Come on, this is unacceptable. The spraygrounds was a great concept but the planning could have been much better. I would rather pay a minimal fee which keeps people honest and respectful. I also had to walk by two people smoking while sitting across from the park sign that says smoking is not allowed. read more

Free wi-fi. Park is open until 11 pm. The shelters have electrical outlets and handicap-accessible picnic tables. In the summer, there's a small beach. The island gazebo has adjustable lighting. The landscaping around the walking trail is beautiful. What more do you want? read more
