We've participated in both family sessions and individual sessions, and one thing we all agree on is that she gives us hope. Her approach and techniques have been very useful so far, and even in this early stage, we can already see a light at the end of the tunnel. After meeting with her, we feel encouraged, supported, and optimistic about the healing work ahead. Caree is an excellent therapist from what I can tell, and I genuinely feel that we are in good hands. I'm grateful for her guidance and truly look forward to the growth, healing, and progress we will continue to make together. Highly recommend.

My partner and I have grown so much through our work with her. She helps us slow down, see our patterns, communicate more honestly, and actually understand each other. Every session feels supportive, straightforward, and deeply insightful. What I appreciate most is how safe she makes the room feel. She stays present, attuned, and genuinely invested. You can feel that she wants you to succeed; not just as a couple, but as individuals trying to show up better for yourselves and each other. Working with her has grounded our relationship in ways we didn't even realize we needed. I'm so grateful we found her. If you're looking for a couples therapist who is wise, compassionate, and isn't afraid to tell the truth with love... go see Caree. She's truly exceptional.

We joke about it all these years later, but coming back for those follow up sessions would be exactly what I needed and truthfully, what I was lacking in my life. Whitney embodies compassion, care, empathy, and love and provides the safety of allowing me to show up as I am on any given day ready to help me unpack whatever I bring her. I came to her at a point in my life when I had shattered as a person. She has been by my side through some incredibly challenging times and there isn't anyone else that I would want in my corner when life happens. Whitney is an incredible therapist. If you are looking for someone who will see you as you are, accept you as you are, and who will walk by your side as you navigate the triumphs and challenges life throws at you, she is the one you need. I think she's pretty amazing and am thankful for her every day.

I tried one avenue, but it just didn't work. So I went on a search for a different therapist. And that search went on day after day, hour after hour. I spoke to some, but nothing ever felt like it was the right fit. Until one day, when I was feeling defeated, I stumbled upon Whitney. I took a look at her website and read her reviews and felt hopeful for the first time in days. From the moment I first spoke to Whitney, I knew she was the one to help me. Two years later, and I can say with absolute certainty that choosing Whitney to be my therapist was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Whitney is compassionate, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She knows how to create a warm, comfortable and supportive environment where you feel safe to tell her all your thoughts and feelings. She's patient and kind, and never gives up on finding ways to help you. She has been such a positive light in my life, and has helped me overcome so much. While I'm still a work in progress, it's all thanks to Whitney that I have made it this far. And that is why I recommend and will always recommend Whitney. If you're looking for someone to help you get back onto the path to happiness, you've found her.

Eventually I got a brief email truly short-handing my expressed concerns and symptoms accompanied by a list of three unassociated names. There was no explanation for these particular referrals and I was left wondering why I had spent $570 for this service. My impression is that this is more of a business enterprise than it is a health care provider. One star - just because I feel generous.

In addition, this preparation has enabled him to thrive out-of-state in his first year of college. Both my son and I agree, that without Dr Zurita's help, all of this would not have been possible. I realized that my son needed professional help when we began to travel to an out-of-state university to meet students and staff. During these visits, my son experienced extreme social anxiety episodes that left him feeling helpless and anxious. My son was devastated that an opportunity to attend the college of his choice would not be realized due to his inability to function socially. As a parent, these experiences were an awakening for me as to how serious the situation was. I am attaching a link to an article that my son sent to me during this experience that describes a similar story of a young man who also experienced social anxiety throughout his life. Reading this article brought me to tears and opened my eyes. I was thankful my son found the article and that this article could articulate his thoughts. The article also gave me hope that perhaps it was not too late to seek professional help. Here is the article my son shared with me - http://www.education.com/reference/article/Ref_College_Student/ After reading the article and then contacting several departments of psychology within universities around the nation, I was lead toward Dr Patricia Zurita Ona by the University of California Berkeley. We met with Dr Zurita for four months prior to the time when my son would need to leave for college. Dr Zurita came up with a plan for one on one and group work for my son. My son met with Dr Zurita, and or Dr Zurita and a group, every week for approximately 20 sessions. I am thrilled to report that together by setting goals, doing one on one work, learning therapy tools and techniques, and by participating in group work - my son was able to leave for and attend the out-of-state university. In addition, he feels liberated from the anxious life he once led and has a sense of 'normal' about himself. My son and I text regularly and he is doing great. I asked him recently when we were discussing meeting new groups of friends, if he needed to speak with Dr Zurita, and he replied, "Mom, I have all of the tools to handle this. It's up to me to use them." I am very grateful for finding Dr Zurita. She is responsible for teaching my son skills that have changed his life socially and enabled him to leave home and attend an out-of-state university. This was the dream of a lifetime for him and it would not have been possible without her help. Her guidance has also made it possible for him to live a much richer life, full of experiences he would have never considered, prior to his time meeting with Dr. Zurita. I encourage parents to start this process much sooner, if they sense their child is having difficulty at a social level. Had I understood what he has been going through all of these years, I would have started the process much earlier, so that his prior social experiences and especially those in school, would have been much fuller. In addition, Dr Zurita has a convenient online system that enables you to book and reschedule appointments and pay for your sessions. And, my medical insurance reimbursed a large portion of the cost.
