Mike Shults sorted the deal for me and proved what a big player he is. Nobly, he insisted his salesman take the credit for the deal and not him. Very generous Mike. I wanted to pick the car up on a Sunday. No problem, working to a very tight schedule salesman Sam Rowsell got it taxed,insured and some recall and PDI work done to the deadline. Top job Sam. Mike and his protege Sam just professionally got the job done. Many thanks to both. I think Ford make great cars and this is my third Mondeo. The drive to and from the garage was a pleasure. My experience with Stephen James BMW Enfield was the worst I've had from any company. They messed…read moreup my cars body with inferior job quality, causing holograms from polishing. When I took it back, the body shop manager rudely blamed me and said this is not the job that BMW would ever do. Also, the dent that they supposedly "fixed" on the bumper reappeared after a few months and he said that another car must have hit it. The guy was just making up excuses to make himself look superior in front of his subordinate. I was very close to losing my temper but glad I didn't. He came up with a load of scripted answers and accusations against me instead of looking into the matter and working towards a solution. If this is the attitude of the person managing the body shop, I don't expect any quality from the job they do. I paid them £2000 on top of what my insurance paid them for the extras but ended up being conned and ripped off. They are your best friends until they sell you the car, but a bunch of cowboys when it comes to repairing. Never would I buy any car from BMW again! I'm sickened by their constant arrogance and lack of professionalism. My advice: Don't assume you would get a professional service and quality repairs from this place just because it says BMW on their logo. It's hard to get through to who you need to speak to and the receptionists usually result in telling you that the person you need to speak to will call you back (you wont recieve a call back either). I would genuinely adivse anyone to stay away from Enfield Mini or Bmw and go else where. It's supposed to be a good and exciting experience buying a car but its nothing but hassle and frustration in Enfield.

Cheaper than Halfords - and a great deal happier too!…read more I needed a new car battery, phoned round a few places but most would have to order in, Halfords on the other hand had what I wanted in stock. They had two types - normal (460 crank amps for those who know what I'm talking about) at £80 and £90 for the heavy duty battery (510 CA) and they were asking £4.99 to fit it - I worked that out to be nearly £60 per hour fitting! I found them a bit pushy and desperate for me to buy the more expensive battery. Reluctantly I phoned my main dealer as a last resort before parting with £95, Subaru are bound to be more expensive I thought. They had the heavy duty in stock, supplied fitted and VAT £80, saving myself £15 which I intend to spend down the pub on Friday - who says Main Dealers are pricey, well Woodford Motors are not. I must say that the staff at Woodford Motor Co were a lot more pleasant too (big bonus in my books), this is the first time I've used them and I was impressed with what I saw so I'll be back in August for a service... I'll let you know how I get on.
