It was pretty straightforward damage and claim. They have slow played paying the claim through slow email responses. Requiring multiple signatures on the release. Multiple internal reviews of the claim. None of this was necessary. It was clear they were slow to pay on purpose. Finally was told after 2.5 months that the check was sent and was given a tracking number. The tracking number says the label was created but not sent. Very shady tactics. For context, I was in Texas when the huge ice storm struck Austin. Had almost identical claim with a busted water pipe that flooded the house. Keep in mind the entire eastern side of TX had claims at the time. Traveler's insurance, had an adjustor in 2 days and a check in a week in my hands and if there were any issues, I could refile the claim for additional work. Do not use this company.

So, February 2024 rolls around, no plate, call up Best Tags, "not their problem", call up PennDOT, after an hour bouncing around PennDOT, they indicate need to look something up based off the receipt. Call Best Tags again, they said they'd look into it. About two weeks later a brand new tag shows up in our mailbox in a manila envelope, with a registration date effective... February 2024. Something fell through the cracks, no explanation, no apology. As other commenters have noted, there are lots of places to get routine official transactions done at fixed market pricing, why go to a place which will give problems ?
