After we paid the tax and filed the return, the estate attorney and our financial advisor looked over the return and were appalled with the manner in which Mr. LaSorsa completed the tax return. I emailed Mr. LaSorsa several times about it, and he didn't answer my emails. When I was finally able to get him on the phone to ask him about the manner in which he prepared the return, he was very condescending and insulting to me. And he had the gall to blame his support staff, "the girls", for not printing out my emails to him. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your tax matters.

This company is fabulous, excellent, and always top-rated by Consumer Reports for Customer Service…read moreand Claims Adjustment. I started with them for auto insurance in 1989, because I was moving from California to Joisey, and was advised by an academic who preceded me in that same move, that auto coverage was expensive and hard to get in Joisey, so I'd be well advised to get the coverage in California and transfer it. Since 1991, I've purchased house insurance, then an umbrella policy and recently, when I moved to Philly, I got renters insurance and will be transferring my car insurance to PA. Net-net is 30 years of TELEPHONE-only service has been extraordinary. No brokerage agents, only a few brick and mortar offices -- all business is conducted over the phone, and the customer service is extraordinary. I recall a scary auto accident where I was rear ended on a Sunday in the parking lot of a shopping center: trunk not able to be closed, rear windshield shattered, bumper caved in. I reported it on a Monday morning [not realizing that I could report it on Sunday!], a claims adjuster came right out, and I RECEIVED THE CHECK in US mail on Friday.

People aside, the infrastructure here is infuriatingly bad. During my last 3 visits, the drive thru ATM has been out of service. Today, because of this, I had to run in through the heavy rain with 3 kids to make a deposit. Needless to say, I was not pleased nor were my kids. While inside, I noticed that they installed a new ATM. In the past, the lobby ATM (made by Diebold) was quick and easy like in any bank. But they've replaced that perfectly fine one with some generic, Chinese made, multifunction kiosk and it is which is UTTERLY HORRENDOUS. It's slow, it's glitchy, it gives me blank white screens for minutes on end, the screen freezes when it's processing a deposit or about to dispense cash and it makes an annoying "ding" sound reminiscent of a Windows 98 error notification every time I touch the screen. I left thinking I need a new bank. There's no way I'm using this thing again. Hopefully they'll permanently fix their drive thru ATM and correct or replace the lobby one. If not, I'm really going to miss seeing the friendly tellers here.
