Great venue for basketball and concerts! You'd be surprised how well you can hear from far away. Views are good everywhere, never blocked by anyone. You've got to come support the gators!

Loved seeing all of the retro games that take me back to my childhood. Would love to be able to suggest games for them to get, but I don't know where they would put them they have so many! Didn't try any food, so I can only speak to the gaming experience. Worth every penny.

They do have an option where you can pay extra for a game card to earn tickets. They did have some pretty cool prizes, but we decided to focus on the pinball machines. This place has TONS of games to choose from. It's so cool being able to play older games for the first time. They weren't busy the night we went, so we just went around playing any game instantly. My favorite pinball machines were Toy Story, phantom of the opera, and Mario. The staff was friendly. They have a bar inside and some seating. Unfortunately there were a handful of games that were out of order. But I would say most games were working fine. This is such a neat place with so much to do! I highly recommend it.

This ballpark hosts the Florida Gators baseball team, and it opened about 2 years ago. This ballpark has an amazing 360 design view from the 3rd level which also serves as the floor for the press box and club seating. However on the 2nd level/concourse, that's where the main seating area is. There's more than enough seating and also there's berm seating for spectators who have the thrill to catch an out ball or even a homer! If you can get a chance to walk around, you'll be able to see the history of Gator baseball and the team's accolades. The concession stand has great food options ranging from the classic ballpark eats like hotdogs, peanuts, and popcorn to chicken caesar salad wraps, fried key lime cheesecake with a raspberry sauce, and a watermelon cooler. Also, the bathrooms are very clean which are amazing at a sporting event. My only issue is the parking, parking can be very tough especially if there's a tough competitor for the week/weekend, so I advise to get there early. I have been to several games this season, and I definitely enjoy the atmosphere and hanging out with the Gator fans.

We came for an SEC game against lsu and unfortunately didn't fair very well. Parking is available at multiple locations within a short walk even with softball happening around the same time. We had some great times at the old ballpark but understand that we gotta keep progress moving. The cover over the majority of the seats is a welcome change for those sweltering summer games.

This is a lively and…read morehistoric outdoor space that really captures the spirit of the city's music and culture scene. It is a great spot for events, live performances, and community gatherings, and you can tell it is a central hub for downtown activity. The open layout makes it easy to enjoy concerts or festivals, and the atmosphere feels energetic but still laid back. There is plenty of space to stand or sit and take in whatever is going on, and it is especially fun when there is live music happening. The plaza is well known for its connection to music history and it adds a nice cultural touch to the downtown area. The only downside is that it is mostly event driven, so when nothing is happening it can feel a bit quiet or open. Overall, it is a great public space that really shines during events. Easy 4 stars and definitely worth checking out if something is going on.

It's usually used for music festivals or perhaps a farmers market but it was vacant on this Saturday evening with the street market located a few blocks away today. It was renamed in 2008 for Bo Diddley who was born here in Alachua County and is laid to rest not too far away. Diddley was known for his rectangular guitar and energetic performances, blinding blues, rock, and funk, creating a sound that was uniquely his own and influencing Buddy Holly, the Rolling Stones and the Clash. It looks like a fabulous space, surrounded by hotels, bars, restaurants and the vibe of a downtown college city. Go Gators. [Review 360 of 2025 - 2012 in Florida - 23922 overall]

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was already getting a positive review, without that fact, and even with Florida State, winning to stay undefeated. The Seminoles going 12-0 for the 4th time in their history after I spent a fortune on tickets to watch the Gators win again didn'qt change the review. If you have never gone to a college football game, this is where you really should go to enjoy a great day for your 1st college game experience. People tailgating in the parking lot couldn't have been nicer to each other. Gator and Seminole fans were joking back and forth about their teams without things being taken seriously. It was refreshing. While my wife, 3 sons and I were walking to the stadium from parking lot 25, we walked upon an Airstream camper transformed into a mobile bar complete with massive quantities of Jack Daniels, Pillar rum and other liquid refreshments. There was also a large tent to escape the light rain and a few large tables pushed together full of free food for EVERYONE to enjoy. There were all types of sandwiches on high-quality rye bread with Mayo, tomatoes, bacon, and about an inch think of first-class delicious meat. There were also salads, jumbo shrimp in a type of oil and vinegar liquid with red onions plus other pasta salads sitting there for everyone. Yes, both Gator and Seminole fans were invited to eat there. Where was this when I was in college??? I realized, "Damn, I went to the wrong Florida University!!!" We looked for a place to pay for the food that we had put on a Chinett plate, and my wife went to the bar. She was told all the food, Jack Daniel's, Pillar Rum, and other tasty beverages were free. The owner of "The Florida Cracker" just wanted to party with all the fans before the game and was treating everyone. We thanked him because he was the highlight of tailgating. What an unbelievable gift for walking into the stadium. What a great guy!!!! Our parking lot was lot 25. It's great if you are sitting on the north side of the stadium. We were sitting on the south side in section D in the 2nd row from the end zone on the other side but if I had the same seats again I would park in the same lot because of the people providing food to the hungry students and the old fans. It was great. Entering the stadium was crowded but moved quickly. In a matter of minutes, we were at Section D and getting ready to walk to the second row. The kids were excited about sitting 2 rows from the end zone. The last point is their philly cheesesteak sandwiches. They are 100% better than expected. I usually don't like green peppers on my cheesesteaks, but all the ingredients merged perfectly for stadium food perfection. All 5 of the 5 of us would order them again. Even my wife who grew up a few miles from Philly. It's a great place to go!!!
