Ok sometimes I think the reminder call every 6 months is a little annoying, but to be honest with you, if it wasn't for them reminding me that preventative care is easier and cheaper than filings,crowns and etc, I'd probably forget to go to the dentist until I had a major problem. I told this to the dental assistant, the assistant said, "Oh, He never does that." Dr. Hage DDS the owner, convinced me to have the tooth pulled. I was mentally weak due to the tooth pain. The doctor pulled the tooth and showed me a small white infection at the tip of the root, however there was no decay on the tooth. As soon as I saw that there was no decay; I knew all I really need was an antibiotic. I knew this because I had worked in dentistry from 1981 to 1997. Dr. Hage does not care about saving teeth he wants to pull them out so he can do an expensive implant. Then the dentist said I need to have a bone graft; he charged me $800 for that procedure. This took him all about 3 minutes, so I don't know what he really did. I have an upper partial denture, so now I had to pay additional money to add a tooth to the partial. It took two times to get the replacement tooth properly aligned right. It looks terrible and it doesn't look right. A very Mickey mouse job, the lab work was terrible. If you want to save your teeth I would never recommend this office. They don't care about the patient they just care about money. Dr Cowman doesn't ask, solicit or hint about doing a review. He is supremely old school in that respect and I love that. Fantastic dentist. (He recently moved, so check out the new address before you make the appointment). Gentle, funny, up on the latest procedures and great with crowns. Matching crowns to existing teeth, or other crowns, is basically an art form. Doesn't push you to get a bunch of new anything, unless he's sure you actually need it. And this is something I am starting to totally respect and stand in awe of, given the current state of most medical practices. Shout out also to Karin at the front desk. So smart. He is honest and transparent, which is so hard to find these days. I had so many friends throughout the years hate going to their own dentist so they never go...so I sent them to Cowman and after the 1st visit, they were like omg I loved going to the dentist. Other dentists were telling my fiance that he needed a $300 deep cleaning and a root canal...he has been going to Cowman now for 6 years and Cowman on the first visit said "absolutely not, u do not need those things...your teeth are perfect". Cowman is personable, very funny and the vibes are always super high in the office. His receptionist, Karen, is the backbone to his practice as she knows every patient as well and is just "real". Everyone is super nice and always so honest and caring with empathy. They somehow remember everything about me every time so they ask about my life. He is also probably the only dentist in the country that declines me from treatments I want...I've asked for teeth whitening for over a year and he says "no, u have perfect teeth, u don't need it". Haha I've asked Karen at the front desk the same thing and she tells me no too. He does offer teeth whitening, but he truly cares about his patients and what is best for them so he treats you like his own family member. Can't recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed. Unacceptable Experience with Dentist Haldy…read more I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services I received from Dentist Haldy, despite being highly recommended by a colleague. I paid an exorbitant $6,000 for a bridge in December 2024, with half covered by my dental insurance and the remaining almost $3,000 still being paid off through Care Credit. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Within the first week, the new bridge cracked, forcing me to endure more hours of drilling and the humiliation of wearing a temporary bridge while waiting for a replacement. After yet another installation, the bridge fell off again a year later. This has made me feel as though I purchased a defective product. When I brought my concerns to Dentist Haldy's attention, requesting at least a partial refund or assistance with my Care Credit balance, he dismissed my request and had his dental assistant finish the work without addressing my complaints. To make matters worse, the assistant refused to engage with me about my legitimate concerns and sent out a receptionist who was not only aggressive but also rude. It was clear she was trained to handle "difficult clients" with contempt, talking over me and deflecting any responsibility onto me as if I were the problem. I reiterated my hope that Dentist Haldy would take his reputation seriously and address my frustrations before I feel compelled to escalate my dissatisfaction further. Instead, the receptionist mocked my concerns, showing a complete lack of professionalism and care. This situation is unacceptable, and I expect a prompt response addressing my grievances. Failure to do so may leave me no choice but to pursue other avenues to ensure my voice is heard and my concerns are taken seriously.

It all popped right off today when I went to meet with Dr. OLSEN about my invisalign retainers. I am going to have to have him fix all of the bonding that I had done. I will never go to The Shores again. The shores is like a low end dental establishment. I only went there because they took my insurance. I had to pay for a consult today and now I have to pay to have my teeth/bonding fixed. The bonding job that The Shores Dental did was a botched job. My real dentist literally flossed my teeth and it popped right off. I am in complete shock I guess it's like going to a good plastic surgeon and a botched one. Stay away!
