If it were not for my work with Jami, I would not be where I am today: happier, more confident,…read morecapable, and ambitious. For many people, it takes someone with a special capacity for compassion, analytical reasoning, and charisma to show them that there are options in life: choices to make that can lead to happiness, and in turn understanding that happiness is a journey, not a destination. I enthusiastically recommend Jami for her professional life coaching services because she was so foundational in my happiness journey. I am a very different person from the one I was when I first started working with Jami. Jami and I worked together to make sure that I had the framework and means to achieve my goals; changing my very understanding of personal fulfillment. Building motivation over time, encouraging me and reminding me my goals are achievable, and that I am worthy of achieving them were messages that she made sure I internalized. This happiness was a process that took a while to realize, but Jami's work helped me to keep it all in perspective: I was able to get to where I am today, including being in a city I've always wanted to be, following career goals I wanted to accomplishment, and even being happy in my own body and comfortable in the knowledge that to take care of my own goals is not selfish, it's necessary to lead a rewarding life. I love the person I have become; but in truth, that person was always there, it just took working with Jami to uncover him. Jami showed me there are infinite options in life, and the best options are those that can help me accomplish what I dream to do.

I have been working with her for close to a year and Jami has helped me in both my professional and personal life. I recently had a 2nd baby, moved across the country and started in a new role at my job. With all the stress and changes at once, Jami helped coach me through the planning and transitioning. The most important piece and where we have spent the most time talking is on my family. As of mother of 3 herself who has done cross-CONTINENT moves, I looked to her for advice on how to help keep it all together and not lose myself. Her advice is real and effective. I have seen my family grow closer since we have been working together and can attest that her process works. Everyone should have a life coach, parenting coach and friend and I am so grateful I found Jami is all that and more to me.

I am around 40…read moreand am a mid-senior level professional and since the pandemic I had deviated from the corporate sector a little and hired John to get to the next level of my career. More specially, my resume needed work as I was getting little to no response on LinkedIn. In all fairness, I have never really had to use a resume as I have always gotten jobs through my relationships. However, this needed to change to meet new market demands. I have also found writing them to be extremely difficult, somewhat artificial, and just gross. But John has a unique gift! After our one-on-one call in which we connected, John to my surprise and delight was able to not only come away with what I had done, where I currently am in my career and what I am looking to do but to also understand what all that meant together in its entirety. I have often struggled and I consider myself a pretty good communicator & writer with my resume. The balance of getting it all in, being specific but also general enough to make you the most marketable you can be for various roles. There is a fine line for anyone to express this but for John to so eloquently and dare I say almost effortlessly write me the best resume I have had! While it's all true and honest it made me feel good to read what I had done! I would hire me! John is a class act, a hard worker as I know he spent a lot of effort on making my resume shine like it did. I have not even spoken about the LinkedIn updating he did on my behalf and the cover letter. If his resume writing ability is an A+ then his linked in profile writing and enhancement and cover letter writing are A+ squared. I will always recommend John and Five Star Resume to all my friends and colleagues who need this service.
