I have no idea who the two girls who "helped" me were. The jewelry wasn't cleaned in any way before being put into my face and the girl manhandled my lip until it turned purple. After I got up, the jewelry looked super uneven and the girl watching asked what I did to it. I didn't do anything. my lip was not swollen at all when I arrived to the shop. my mouth feels raw on the inside from the girl's fingernails. they said to wait another week or two to see if it still looks uneven. there is no way these bars are even the same length. the whole experience was weird and unprofessional.

Can't say enough about how pleased I've been in my work so far with Revolution Ink and Jeff Hubbard…read morespecifically. Jeff did my first tattoo for me a couple years ago, an adaptation of some 125-year-old art for my shoulder. Turned out absolutely beautiful, in spite of a couple rookie decisions on my part that certain things look a certain way. Last night he started in on a leg sleeve for me - I didn't bring anything for reference but a general idea about the theme, and he's running from there. Little different process, and better. Trust your artist - they do this for a living. The leg looks amazing already just in partial linework, but there are hours and hours left- if experience tells me anything it's just going to improve as we go. Jeff's an extremely talented artist and a super nice guy, and the rest of the folks in his shop are doing great work as well, from what I have seen. I'm looking forward to more work. You should go see them too.

Everyone at the front was so nice. They wore masks and we were required to do so as well. We filled out paperwork, paid and selected our jewelry, a nose ring for me. They sent us outside and we could only go in individually. This part sucked a little because we had no support system during the piercing... but we understood and also appreciated the precautions that were being taken. Tava the piercier took good care of each of us. She took her time and answered questions that I had once I got in the back. I asked not to see the needle. She obliged and kept me informed and calm during the process. It was quick, gentle, with little pain. I was given aftercare documents and a date that I could come back for follow up if I needed to. Overall we got 2 nose, 2 belly button, and a tragus ring. Everyone was pleased. My sis had to stop back in the other day after her diamond fell off her post. They examined her and told her that it was still swollen and couldn't be changed yet. But they have her replacement jewelry and advised that she can come back in a couple months to let them change it.

I am so glad I chose Hannah for the job, because she is so very professional, sweet, personable and gifted. I understand that she's been performing piercings in the Birmingham area for 15 years, and she absolutely knows the best piercings for each individual's anatomy. Hannah also has beautiful jewelry for people to choose from including white and yellow gold, as well as titanium, sterling silver and more. In addition, I think Hannah's prices are affordable and reasonable given the quality of each piece and her gentle and knowledgeable expertise. And finally, the atmosphere is very relaxing in her small salon, especially given the fact that she has a way of making you feel comfortable and confident about your piercing decision. In fact, as I write this rating, it's the day after receiving my 2 cartilage piercings and my ear is just a tiny bit sore, because I am completely following her listed after-care instructions. I am truly looking forward to my right ear piercings and the jewelry that will make them standout.
