I was incredibly grateful that Elizabeth was absolutely receptive to all feedback post my initial HMU trial, as I felt the shades I originally picked were too light for an evening wedding and she instantly knew how to change it up for the day of! She also took into consideration that I do not regularly wear heavy make up and was able to give me an elevated natural look, that I was absolutely IN LOVE with! Everyone in my bridal party was absolutely happy with their hair and make up. My mom received so many compliments on her hair and was grateful of the advice of hair style from Elizabeth, compared to what her regular hairstylist recommended. Her vibe was super easy going and truly was one of the bridal party as we were chatting and jammin' out to music as we were getting ready! As for my hair and make up, I never felt more like a Disney princess than after seeing my hair and makeup done while in my dress. I was super appreciative of the small touch up kit that she also provides, as I only needed to touch up on lips after 2 hours of photo poses that entailed touching foreheads and kisses! Booking Elizabeth as my wedding hair and make up artist was truly one of the easiest and best decisions I made while wedding planning. Her professionalism and talents truly are worth every cent, and her pricing is SUPER fair compared to other HMU artists around Orange County. I'm grateful I found her, and can't recommend her enough! THANK YOU, again, Elizabeth for making me look and feel like a real life princess on my wedding day!

Elizabeth and Amy arrived right on time and completed everyone's looks exactly as scheduled. What impressed me most was that their efficiency never compromised comfort or quality--we never felt rushed. They were also very accommodating with any adjustments we requested.   Everyone in my bridal party was so happy with their hair and makeup. My mother-in-law, who had Amy work on her, told me she's never received so many compliments on her look and was incredibly pleased with the experience.   As for my own look--AMAZING. I've never felt more beautiful! Even better, my hair and makeup lasted flawlessly the entire day without needing any retouch. We took photos under the sun and dealt with sea breeze, dust, and sand, and everything still held up perfectly.   Booking Elizabeth was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. As a thoughtful touch, she even sent me photos and videos of my look the very next day, which I truly appreciated. She is a true professional and exceptional at what she does!

It's a new technique that gives you semi-permanent natural looking results. When I found out Parie does this technique I knew I had to get mine done. As there is no one else I would trust more with my face! My first session took about 2 hours. After signing some forms, Parie talked to me about skin type, skin tone, what my brow goals were, and explained to me the procedure and what to expect. She then designed my brows for me based on what o requested and what she thought would look best on my face. After I saw them drawn on and was happy with them Parie applied an anesthetic numbing cream and we waited about 20 minutes for it to settle in. During this time Parie mixed up the pigment taking into account the skin on top would change the final color. After the strokes were finished Parie covered my brows with dye. Gave me aftercare instructions and I was done. Much like tattooing, there is an art to microblading. The brows need to be customized to your face. I would highly recommend Parie! My microblading experience was better than I expected. I am completely in love with my brows.

I found her Instagram account, and she was very responsive to all of my messages, and I was able to book two appointments with her; a wedding day trial and one for my wedding day. She was very patient and cooperative with me, especially when I wanted a more glittery glam look for the game day compared to my trial run. Even though I didn't book hair for my trial run, Nikki assured me that she would be able to, and I'm very appreciative that I let her for my wedding day; my hair came out beautiful, voluminous, and lasted all day. DISCLAIMER - This is from a makeup trial in 2020 and wedding in 2021…read more It took me time to get the courage to write this review, because Crystal seems like such a sweet person. However, I don't want anyone else to have an experience similar to mine. First off, I think her makeup skills are amazing and loved her makeup work. She took into consideration my photographer's editing style and how the makeup would show up in the photos. She's also a bubbly person that was very easy to talk to. Makeup Trial in 2020: Makeup turned out great in the photos. It took me a bit to get comfortable with how it looked in person, because I wasn't used to wearing much makeup, but she talked me through everything and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. The makeup still looked great at the end of the night though too - and this is after doing an ocean-side photoshoot. The cons: - She ran 5-10 minutes behind schedule and the trial ended up taking longer than expected due to struggles with my hair; so I had to rush to make it to my engagement shoot. However, I did appreciate how Crystal still took the time to listen and try to correct things. - My hair - I wanted a half up, half down w/ curls hairstyle. In a call beforehand, I had explained to her how my hair has a difficult time keeping curls and that I usually can only get a hold with a straightener. I can't remember if she used a curling wand or a curling iron, but the curls were already falling flat during the trial. By the time of the photo shoot, my hair was lightly wavy. By the end, it got pretty flat. She did offer a discounted retrial to try another technique to see if my hair would hold better. I didn't end up doing a retrial since I had to reschedule my wedding. (Rescheduled) Wedding Day in 2021: I had booked Crystal for makeup for my wedding for myself and my mom. The days beforehand, she mentioned how she was getting vaccinated. Skip forward to the morning of my wedding. I wake up a little over 2 hours before our appointment time, and I notice a text from Crystal that was sent less than 6 hours before our appointment. She says she's so sorry, she's been having chills and nausea and that she's unsure if she can cover and she's reached out to her immediate artists. I don't hear from her again until 1.5 hours before our appointment, she confirms that none of her artists have reached back out to her yet. I'm not sure, but it seems that she became symptomatic because of the vaccination. At that time, it was known that people get side effects from vaccinations, so I thought it was unprofessional to schedule a vaccination right before a booking. It also did not help that Crystal was unable to find a replacement. It was such a stressful morning... In the end, luckily my friend found someone else available to do my makeup and my mom went to a salon.
