The doctor came in shortly after getting my vitals. The appointment lasted for about 15 minutes to establish me being a new patient. I was recommended by someone and I've since recommended this office as well. I'm looking forward to my next appointment.

She takes her time with you & is very open to answering questions. She also has a modern view on doctoring from what I can tell. (Most doctors I've been to think that I need all sorts of supplements since I'm a vegetarian, but generally, as long as you don't just eat processed crap, that's usually the opposite. She knew this & treated me great & thought that I was perfectly healthy. So many doctors are still misinformed about my kind of diet, sadly.) There are multiple numbers to try, yet they all will not allow you to talk to a representative, OR the representative does not help. There have been multiple times where I'm left without my prescription because the doctor "denies the refill" and I have been unable to contact any representative who was able to help. I couldn't find out why and this left me with bad cramping and spotting and threw off my cycle. Also, every time I receive a pack it's a different brand which seems unprofessional to me. Recently, I scheduled an appointment 6 months in advance and they left me a voicemail a few days beforehand saying it had to be rescheduled. When i tried calling to reschedule during normal hours, the automated call ended saying I must call during office hours. I want to switch doctors but it seems that I can never get in for an appointment.

There are multiple locations around central Indiana, and many of the staff bop from one office to another. I typically schedule my routine well-woman visits with Adrienne Hoagland, who is a nurse practitioner with this practice and is the literal best. Her attitude toward everything is very matter-of-fact and positive, and she always puts me at ease. I've been seeing her for many years, so she knows my history and remembers things that I've told her at past visits. I am not in the market for an obstetrician anymore (thank goodness), but for all of my gyno needs, this will be my go-to practice.

I've reached out to the Case manager whom my mother receives information from made me feel like I was less than a human being because I have behavioral health issues yet kind of joked about it. I called (like I said earlier) to coordinate my mother's Dr appointment upon her discharge day. Aside from the case manager treating me bad I called to confirm my mother's must make appointment and someone answered. I expressed my concern and was put on hold. I wasn't put on hold and I hear EVERYTHING the nurse or whomever say terrible things about me and she figured out that the phone was not on the hanger yet she hung up without acknowledging I heard every word and just hung up. I called back and there was no answer. The care. I'll give a 5 just because my mother has been treated right. But as far as giving information and being polite to family members whom has loved 1s in the facility and showing respect. Just from my experience. They get a ZERO in my book. Community hospital over bills and frankly this practice just wants your money! For regular Pap smears it's never done by the doctor. I chose DR. Crane. In all these years I have seen her 3 times. Pretty pathetic. Carol the NP always did my papa. She is very nice, however it would be nice to see a doctor. I finally did get to see Dr. Crane in May when I had a polyp on my cervix. She removed it. I found out on 11/24 I was 4 wks and 6 days pregnant. I called the office to schedule my appt. I was so overjoyed with happiness!! So excited to be a mommy. I am 34 and this and is 36. We only tried for 3 months and so blessed I was pregnant. When speaking with the appt setter Marina or Maria? Not sure she said her name fast and had an accent. Seem to be happy for me. She said let's set up your 6-8 wk appt so we did and then when it got to the next appt she gave me a date. I mentioned to her I am moving on 1/12/16. She said well I got to get with the office manager. She called me back- they refused to see me. She kept my first appt And then called a couple days later said I cancelled your appt. Go see a new doc in my new area. What a way to make you feel comforted. So I found a new doc office that is 100 times better! They are with IU. It is a much better hospital. Well needless to say I Had complications 2 weeks ago and last wk I lost my baby. I am not blaming this practice for that at all or myself, but the care I received all these years was horriable!! It has been such am awful experience. All they want is your money. They see dollar signs when you are pregnant. If you are not - you are worth nothing to them. I was not going to write this review, but it sure makes me Feel better to do so.

This is the Westfield branch of OB/GYN of Indiana, and it's honestly just as great as the one in…read moreCarmel. The office is smaller and housed in a one-story building. But though the office might be on the small side, that kind of lends a homey atmosphere to it. Many of the doctors and nurses are the same as the Carmel office, because they rotate back and forth between offices. The nurse practitioner that I see, Adrienne, shares time between this Westfield office and the Carmel one, so which office I see her in depends on what day I see her. By the way: If you're looking for a good person to see for general gyno things like well-woman exams and paps, Adrienne is the best! She is very professional and good at her job, and is also warm but direct. Visiting any kind of doctor is not my favorite thing in the world, and the gynecologist is no exception, but the doctors and staff at OB/GYN of Indiana make it a good experience.
