I typically schedule my routine well-woman visits with Adrienne Hoagland, who is a nurse practitioner with this practice and is the literal best. Her attitude toward everything is very matter-of-fact and positive, and she always puts me at ease. I've been seeing her for many years, so she knows my history and remembers things that I've told her at past visits. I am not in the market for an obstetrician anymore (thank goodness), but for all of my gyno needs, this will be my go-to practice.

With renovations completed last summer, it is not nearly as difficult to find. Look at the directory on the main floor and make sure you take the correct elevator - not all roads lead to Rome (err, I mean not all elevators lead to the ob-gyn). The new building + office space is swanky and new. On my visits, I've never had to wait too long for my appointment, although that isn't always the case once you're in the exam room. That's unfortunately to be expected at a doctor's office, but it's not nearly as bad as the stereotypical wait time. The staff here has the entire process down to a science like a smooth-operating machine. However, this can sometimes make it feel more like a factory than a personal experience. That being said, I've always been pleased with my doctor (Dr. Flora) and she has answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything. She makes me feel comfortable (as comfortable as you can at the ob-gyn) and I would recommend her and WHA.

Aside from the case manager treating me bad I called to confirm my mother's must make appointment and someone answered. I expressed my concern and was put on hold. I wasn't put on hold and I hear EVERYTHING the nurse or whomever say terrible things about me and she figured out that the phone was not on the hanger yet she hung up without acknowledging I heard every word and just hung up. I called back and there was no answer. The care. I'll give a 5 just because my mother has been treated right. But as far as giving information and being polite to family members whom has loved 1s in the facility and showing respect. Just from my experience. They get a ZERO in my book. She is super sweet. She took her time at my appointment, asked me what my questions and concerns were and she was very knowledgeable. So my first appointment was my yearly exam and I decided to book a separate appointment to check on hormone levels. I signed a release for a functional medical place to release my records to her and she listened to my concerns and then offered advice. This practice has aesthetics, hormone testing, regular OB/GYN services, and perimenopause and menopause appointments. I've only been twice, but I really have loved Dr. Hahn.

Now I invested time and money into this new clinic and they haven't helped me whatsoever. I believe at the time they took me on as a new client, they completely knew they were closing, but still needed me to pay their bills. I believe this was a scam, it's unethical, and simply bait and switch. Now I'm being taken advantage of because they're struggling financially. Not ok.

But though the office might be on the small side, that kind of lends a homey atmosphere to it. Many of the doctors and nurses are the same as the Carmel office, because they rotate back and forth between offices. The nurse practitioner that I see, Adrienne, shares time between this Westfield office and the Carmel one, so which office I see her in depends on what day I see her. By the way: If you're looking for a good person to see for general gyno things like well-woman exams and paps, Adrienne is the best! She is very professional and good at her job, and is also warm but direct. Visiting any kind of doctor is not my favorite thing in the world, and the gynecologist is no exception, but the doctors and staff at OB/GYN of Indiana make it a good experience.
