Lauren was my favorite vendor during my wedding planning experience! She always displayed a high level of professionalism, grace, and care regarding her services for the wedding. During my countdown after booking, Lauren kept in touch with me monthly to see if I had any questions, concerns, or ideas - even with a year out. She offered to assist me in anyway since I was planning a out-of-town wedding, which I did take her up on a few times! I was able to view weddings she was doing and it was helpful to see the different types of wedding she did (location, budget, themes) as well as how she was maturing in her artform. Lauren improves her craft often by updating her equipment, improving packaging for products, and participating in educational opportunities in photography. Her prices were reasonable and allowed me to change my package several times without one complaint. On our wedding day, Lauren and her assistant (her husband, but she has others who serve in this role) was on time, friendly with our guests, and took many great photos. Lauren was very flexible, professional, and low-key. I loved that she was not pushy or forceful on photo opps. She didn't miss any key photos that I had asked her to take (even those few I had completely forgot I told her about!) and I was able to get a full reflection of the entire day. She captured our personality as a couple and did an excellent job doing the same for our wedding. Within 3 days, she had a preview up on the Portrait of a Lady Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/portraitofaladyphotography) and within 3-4 weeks, a full feature of highlights up. This took a lot of the guesswork out of what our photos look like and didn't keep us waiting for long for final product (4 weeks for the photo cd). Many of our guests commented on how great Lauren was during she wedding and was very impressed with her final products. Long story short: Courtney from Fleeting Fox Photography is AMAZING…read more Now for more detail: We found Courtney in a pinch about four months before our wedding when our original photographer fell through. From the first moment we emailed/Skyped, it was like she just "got" my (then fiancé) husband and I. Courtney is out of Fort Wayne, and our wedding was in Indianapolis - but that didn't matter at all! Courtney came to Indy a few weeks before our wedding and we walked the venue and blocks around it (in 20-degree weather!) to determine exactly where we wanted shots, where to avoid, etc. Courtney was there for the rehearsal, through the entire day of the wedding and stayed through the later part of the reception. She made sure to capture what we wanted but also had super creative ideas that she directed us into for the best pictures. Her turnaround time is super quick too - our wedding was just before Mother's Day and she had no problem editing a few family shots in time for us to give them as gifts. We received all of our photos (in the CUTEST package in the mail) in less than three weeks after the wedding, which is unheard of! Courtney's photos are beautiful. She has a great eye when it comes to lighting and always had a great idea of how the image will come together. She was not only able to accommodate my needs, but she was also extremely flexible to work with me as her client. She arrived early to a location she had recommended (she had many ideas!) and was ready to begin working with me. During the photo shoot, she was calm - extremely easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable with the poses I did and the ones she suggested. After the shoot, Courtney followed up promptly. Her system of sharing images was very easy to use. I knew from the moment we said goodbye I wanted to work with her again. She was able to capture my emotions in each image, take shots from different points of view that were so incredibly creative and to most importantly make me feel comfortable. Courtney didn't just take photos that day, she created an experience I will never forget. I highly recommend working with such a talented, kind person!
