Long story short: Courtney from Fleeting Fox Photography is AMAZING. Now for more detail: We found Courtney in a pinch about four months before our wedding when our original photographer fell through. From the first moment we emailed/Skyped, it was like she just "got" my (then fiancé) husband and I. Courtney is out of Fort Wayne, and our wedding was in Indianapolis - but that didn't matter at all! Courtney came to Indy a few weeks before our wedding and we walked the venue and blocks around it (in 20-degree weather!) to determine exactly where we wanted shots, where to avoid, etc. Courtney was there for the rehearsal, through the entire day of the wedding and stayed through the later part of the reception. She made sure to capture what we wanted but also had super creative ideas that she directed us into for the best pictures. Her turnaround time is super quick too - our wedding was just before Mother's Day and she had no problem editing a few family shots in time for us to give them as gifts. We received all of our photos (in the CUTEST package in the mail) in less than three weeks after the wedding, which is unheard of! Courtney's photos are beautiful. She has a great eye when it comes to lighting and always had a great idea of how the image will come together. Highly Recommend Fleeting Fox Photography! Courtney is Professional, Sincere and Genuine! I reached out to Courtney for a non-traditional photoshoot that was also last minute. She was not only able to accommodate my needs, but she was also extremely flexible to work with me as her client. She arrived early to a location she had recommended (she had many ideas!) and was ready to begin working with me. During the photo shoot, she was calm - extremely easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable with the poses I did and the ones she suggested. After the shoot, Courtney followed up promptly. When contacting her to photograph my wedding, she was quick to respond, met with me when and where it was convenient for me, and captured the absolute best day of my life in a series of pictures that include each and every special moment from beginning to end. Courtney's portfolio pictures are beautiful and her prices are great so I scheduled her for my wedding. Upon our first meeting she asked if she could come to my rehearsal to see the church and find out if she could get close to the alter for closeups. She never showed for the rehearsal. Out of the almost 1,500 photos she took about 50 were the high quality I saw on her site. Several common sense shots were not taken. Though she took about 60 photos of my shoes, she took about 3 of our first kiss from halfway across the church. Maybe if she had come to the rehearsal she would have known she could get closer shots. She jad her boyfriend doing a photobooth while she was supposed to be walking around the reception. She stood there with him the whole time. We also had almost no pics of us at our headtable, being happy newly weds, because she was busy sitting down and eating with our guests. read more

I was very interested in using Courtney for my wedding photography after browsing through her portfolio. I contacted her through her website and it took a week and a half to hear anything back. After making sure my date was available, we emailed back and forth a few times. Each email took over a week to get a response, and each week getting closer to my date I was getting nervous that I hadn't seen a contract yet. I was finally told the deposit needed and was about to send it when Courtney emailed me and said she couldn't do that date anymore. 9 weeks to go to my wedding (I first emailed her with 18 weeks to go until my date) I was freaked I wouldn't have a photographer! Thankfully a family friend with a small photography business stepped up. I just wish Courtney would have 1) responded to my emails at least within a week and 2) been honest when I asked her if my date was available. read more

Love Fleeting Fox Photography! Courtney was incredibly easy to work with, both beforehand and at the shoot. She made my shy toddler feel at ease--he was looking at the camera and laughing and giggling in no time. I can never get him to do that when I am trying to take a picture! She got the photos to us very quickly, and they are really great. She has an incredible eye and a recognizable, beautiful style. I love the feel of the photos.
