The minute I walked in it was like she took control and walked me thru. She made sure that I felt comfortable, the spotlight was on me. She was a great listener, cares for her clients, their wants, needs, and dislikes. Don't let me forget to mention her prices......... Wow, totally worth it! I couldn't believe what I heard when she told me the price. I've had quotes before by some other photographers and Buesching Photography definitely rates #1 with more than 5 stars!

The pictures she did get were good but I didn't even receive half of the pictures you would expect from your wedding. I had specific requested previously the we get a picture of my daughter with just my dress before the wedding, that didn't happen. I did not get a single poses picture with any of the groomsmen. There was ONE pose of just me with all my bridesmaids. There is one single picture in any picture of my ring bear. There is not a picture of my daughter by herself. The pictures with parents only happened in one big group. With grandparents, we just did one group pictures and no individuald. And Brittany had pointed out multiple spots for pictures of just me and David and did only one with dead flowers in the back ground. And then said she was done. Mind you we litterally had 1.5 hours before the reception. I was so wrapped in the moment I didn't even realize any of the other thing. To top all of the missed things off I got charged $300 EXTRA for her going over in her 8 hours. She chose to get to my grandmas at 10 am and know my reception didn't start untill 6, with is 8 hours. She was overhead complaining that people had there phones out during the ceremony, and I'm sure that is why we, me and my husband, only posed in one spot. The morning of she also was talking trash about the bride and wedding she stop the weekend prior. I am extremely disappointed in her performance that day, the most important day of my life. I will never have her take a single picture for me again and I will never refer anyone to her services. I know you might say you are only losing one person but just remember how much I helped you start your business and how many people I have refers to you. I'm actually disgusted at how unprofessional, as a photographer, brittany was the day of and following days of my wedding.

Upon arriving we were welcomed into Kayte's studio: warm, clean, welcoming and secure. Very family friendly. Once we were settled in and had chatted Kayte began demonstrating her expertise. It is obvious that this is an artist skilled at her craft. We may have had our doubts about how well the two little ones were going to be able to "cooperate" but Kayte was not only able to engage the two-year-old's interest and cooperation but she put her years of experience in gently soothing babies into practice with a mildly fussy newborn. Mom was able to sit back and watch the shots being set up from her seat on the sofa, while Dad supervised the older sibling playing with studio provided toys. It's easy to see from the finished works on her website/social media the beauty of her work. It was so interesting to watch the skill that went into making those shots actually happen. Importantly, the process was gentle and respectful of baby, mom and the whole family. I was really impressed and the finished products (digital photos delivered in less than a week!) were gorgeous. I'd certainly recommend checking out "Legacy Portraits by Kayte!"

My daughter had her wedding and reception at this venue recently and we will not be using their…read moreservices in the future or recommending them. The venue is pretty much a huge banquet hall that uses a curtain to divide up the room for smaller groups in order for it to not look quite as big. We were not given access in order to further set up and rehearse the night before instead we were told that we would have enough time before guests arrived. We had agreed on us arriving 30 minutes prior to guests in order for us to be able to setup and go over a quick rehearsal, however, this was not the case because we were not allowed into the hall and all doors were locked. After the DJ opened the door to allow a few of the bridal party inside the owner came unglued and started ranting. She told us we needed to wait until the official time when guests would arrive. So now we have guests arriving with nothing setup and we have still yet to rehearse. It's pouring outside and the owner refuses to allow guests to come in or at least stand in the entry way until her watch precisely says the exact time. The wedding invitation stated 4:00 so typically guests will arrive a few minutes early. The doors are still locked. It's windy, raining and cold outside and our guests are getting soaked so we open the door to allow them in only to stay in the entry way. The owner becomes very upset and insisted guests return to their car and wait. This is a special day where guests are dressed in their best for a wedding and they're getting soaked. There was really no reason the guests could not come in a couple of minutes early to get out of the rain. The tables, chairs and the decor the venue offered had been set up a couple weeks in advance so there was nothing for them to set up for since there hadn't been an event booked for a couple weeks prior to their wedding Another issue we had was there is absolutely no parking designated just for the bridal party especially the bride to pull up close to the back entrance and hurry to get out of the rain. There is also no dressing room for her to do a few last minute touches or a safe place to store items away like purses and cell phones. It was really hard to hear the ceremony without a mic even from upfront let alone those sitting off to the back of the room. We asked if we could use a mic and was told there was not one available. During the wedding ceremony the owner was showing the venue on two seperate occations to potential clients VERY rude and unprofessional.. and yes I do have photos proving this. This is not the time to be showing off your venue to potential clients!! Putting a wedding together is stressful enough but this experience added a lot of unnecessary additional stress for everyone involved. For an owner, operator and hostess working with the public she was not helpful, friendly or flexible. Unless you absolutely have no other options available I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
