Caitlin did a great job at first trying to think through the cause and when she couldn't figure it out, she didn't just suggest but told me to move on and force my son to go to school and ignore his pain. We decided to pursue some other avenues and needed a 2nd opinion. We went to Dr Bouzarelos who helped me think through some options. Under the notes, I saw Caitlin tell an admin that a 2nd opinion completely undermines the patient-doctor relationship. Once she heard I saw Dr. Bouzarelos, she called me at work to re-enforce her thoughts. I called the office and asked to switch our primary care physician which Caitlin wouldn't allow. She said that if I wanted to switch, I don't believe in their practice and I was not allowed to see anyone in their practice. I was left without a primary doctor overnight in the middle of a medical emergency. Fortunately, Partners in Pediatrics understood my emergency and got me in right away. They encourage 2nd opinions and would love to hear if I have any other ideas. My son's chest pain has been resolved and we continue to partner on his care. I hope the more senior physicians at 5280 learn from this review and coach the newer doctors. A few other things: I know Caitlin only worked a couple of days a week. Since they won't collaborate across physicians, I often had to wait several days to get any answers back. The front office can be pretty difficult. None of this really mattered to me until I was in a true emergency. I suggest finding a great pediatrician because when your child is chronically sick, it can be very difficult to manage.

We have always felt we have been given the medical resources and wisdom from the practitioners to ensure a healthy and mindful course of action for treatment and prevention. When health care providers walk alongside you and your family and provide you with actual resources/studies/classes, it empowers the patient-family to take responsibility for their health and trust their intuition. We appreciate this about the providers here. This practice is an integrated approach as the name states. We have felt supported, listened to & have been given research (backed by scientific evidence) that fits any questions we may have about courses of action. Each child is unique and each family very different and this perspective is well in place here. Ive never felt short of being provided materials to help me make informed decisions and have always felt the space is comfortable (& comforting when in crisis!) for us to have open conversations/discussions on various topics (so helpful for first time parents!) We have felt like we are "part of the family" here...open, honest, genuine, wise, the list goes on!

I've been bringing my kids here for 7 years and not one time has anything I've ever mentioned been blown off by Jen. She listens to my concerns, and gives the education needed for Illnesses or issues brought up. I highly recommend this practice to my patients. Also the ma is amazing, when giving shots she's quick and always gives the kids the best bandaids

Providers here are decent. We have had 2 physicians and 2 physician assistants care for our kids…read morehere... HOWEVER, their scheduling terms are TERRIBLE. Probably the worst that we have ever dealt with especially being a pediatric practice - they are extremely INFLEXIBLE and SLOW. These are CONSISTENT issues that we have had with all of our children for the past year: 1) they are booked 2-3+ months out for appointments - so then HOW DO WE SCHEDULE WELL CHECK UPS, VACCINATIONS, ETC that are based on a child's age??? 2) EVERY single time we have been in, they have run late. From getting us into an exam room, to waiting up to 20-25 min at times until someone comes in to the physician saying the nurse will be back for shots and then NO ONE comes in for 20-25 mins and we have to step out and ask if anyone is coming and then the nurse comes in to many other instances of this sort 3) as much as they run late, we arrived 5 (yes, FIVE) mins late once and they cancelled our appointment saying that they only offer a 5-6 min grace period which does NOT make sense on multiple levels in itself This practice just has POOR customer/patient service logistically. Their policies are inconsistent, insensible (what is a 5-6 min grace period?! 5-10-15 mins I can understand but just grabbing something out of thin air given you have been late in every aspect 15-20 times before to our family and you cancel us the ONE time we are FIVE mins late?! It has to be a 2-way street and unfortunately they are unclear and ALWAYS running late here without fail). There are SO many other practices that will treat your family fairly and correctly, stay away from this POORLY run and UNORGANIZED practice. I wish we could say otherwise because the providers are decent but given everything else is just AWFUL, you can easily get better care for your child and certainly better service at another local practice. Period.
