Frederiksen-Crawford has been doing our taxes for 4 years now and every single year they do a fantastic job leaving us consistently pleasantly surprised at the end of tax season. Our taxes are moderately complicated with some W2 stuff, some self-employment business stuff, rental property, property sales (capital gains), etc. and while some firms I have worked with in the past struggled to get it all correct and submitted on time, Frederiksen-Crawford has been meticulous about getting it all correct, on time every single year. They are professional, informative, easy to work with, diligent, and effective and make what could be a painful tax season feel fair and relatively painless. Thank you Frederiksen-Crawford! We'll see you next year.

I used to be locked into a dysfunctional relationship with a tax preparer who embodied everything…read moreyou wouldn't want your tax preparer to be: late, non-responsive, foggy-headed, and sometimes flat-out wrong. Why it took me so many years to break away is a question for my therapist. When I finally decided to go to a REAL professional I found myself here, in the amazingly capable hands of Jackie Thomson. It was like the storm broke, the Jesus rays shone down from the heavens, the sky cleared, and it was a cloudless-still-74-degree-day. And that's the way it's been ever since. Hallelujah. Jackie answers e-mail in a flash, gets the job done on time, exhibits work ethic excellence, is reliable, trustworthy, organized, and timely. Basically, she's the consummate professional and I'm left looking for her replica in every other service business I patronize. So, there you have it. Why you'd go anywhere else can remain your little secret but once you switch to Jackie (and Anspach) you'll want to blab it all over the place just like me.

They seem nice the one year we worked with them but in the past we have never had to pay both State and Fed... this group has no clue how to work any kind of tax law that will get you benefits and they charge 2xs as much as other offices. They would not see us in person because they were "too busy". But my sister in law called the same day and ( and it's not even St. Patrick's day in March) got an appointment within the same week.... they play favorites and if you are new and don't have more than 3 apartment buildings and lots of money you are a poor s-o-b who they don't have time for. Plus did I say we only worked with them through emails last year because they "didn't have time" to see us in person and never really got us as clients - they just charged over priced cost $$$$ and we had to pay for the first time in a long time where I don't think we had to. Save ur money and find someone who will work with you personally - these people suck! They are jerks over the phone and will not even let you talk to the person you want to talk to! They suck!!!!

Although they did a good job with my filing last year, this year has been a total disappointment…read more I contacted them by the end of January to get an early kickstart and avoid leaving this to the last minute. They asked me to send the documents as soon as they were available. After a while, when asked if they needed anything else, the answer I received in March was, "We will know when the returns are being prepared." meaning they didn't start at all. As a follow-up, I asked them if it would take some time; I could try to find someone else while there was still time. So surprisingly their response was, "Feel free to find someone else". This last response summarizes how they value their clients. I only gave them an additional star because they managed the situation better last year. If you're an individual client, avoid them at all costs.

We…read moreneeded a local accountant who could fix our taxes as our previous accountant had made mistakes. They were very through and went back through several years of books to amend our taxes and enabled us to claim back thousands and thousands of dollars in tax over payments. Essentially turning our struggling business into one that made a profit. Apart from amending our past years tax filings we have worked with them with regular filings and it has always been a smooth operation. They work directly with our bookkeepers and access our books online via QuickBooks. More recently with the pandemic Ashlee was able to guide us with applying for extra funds from the IRS with the Employee Retention Credits. Without Ashlee's help we would have missed this assistance. Our company has been able to claim almost $200K from this government aid. As a restaurant owner we have been heavily impacted by the pandemic and the extra money means we don't have to resort to dropping heavily into debt. I shared the information I learned from Ashlee with my friends who own restaurants too. None of them knew about this extra aid. So I want to thank DeMartini and Associates for being so through, checking and explaining everything we are entitled too. On behalf of my company with over 20 employees, thank you for keeping us strong to continue through times of difficulty. Be that due to pandemic or bad financial accounting from the past. When you are giving everything you've got to succeed in business you need the support from experts and I highly recommend DeMartini and Associates for going above and beyond in a fast changing world.
