My doctor has been helping me with an issue that occurred post C-section: keloid scar. I've had two csections & this is the first time I've seen results via after care with Kaiser! I came here a few weeks ago for a laser treatment followed immediately by steroid injections (OUCH). My scar is in the best shape it's been in ever. There is one more treatment to be done at this location & I am thrilled to see what the end results are going to look like so I can keep regaining my confidence back & for the pain to stay away. All of the office staff are so thorough, friendly, & welcoming. The nurses explained to me what to expect prior to the doctor entering, & service took maybe 10 minutes in total, half of that time was the consult.

The doctor was very friendly, listened attentively, and made me feel completely understood. By the time I left, I felt relieved, happy, and excited to celebrate. However tonight I went for an MRI that I have waited 2.5…read moremonths and drove 40 minutes for, to be told that the doctor put in incomplete orders after being taken back and asked to change. The woman, Amonda, said she could do a portion based on my choice. I asked if I could wait and she recommended against it but said it was my choice. I said I guess I will do the upper but I don't understand how you don't have the full orders when scheduling had them. They stated the 2 parts and told me to expect to be there for 90 mins. Amonda then interrupted and put her hand up in front of my face and said let's be clear this is your doctor's mistake. It is his mistake if the orders weren't put in correctly but it is also scheduling as well as imaging. She then rolled her eyes at me. Now I m angry and probably not the most pleasant, but take some responsibility and watch how you speak to people, especially after a mistake like this. At that point I requested another person do the test otherwise I would reschedule. She said she was the only one so I asked for her supervisors info and she said she would let her supervisor know and I said no I want her info as I do t trust this to get passed along. She had to go to the front to get a card and her supervisors info. I asked her to write her name on the back and she stated it. I said I asked for you to write it down and she rolled her eyes again and said well I was, then I interrupted her and told her to stop as she wasn't helping things. I am so unbelievably disappointed with how this woman treated me, and even more disappointed with how this fell through the cracks. You are wasting peoples time and interfering with their care and lives by not having better follow through! I am hoping this was just a fluke but I have been seeing more and more like this happening with Scripps, and it is bothersome. It is unfortunate because they have some maxing doctors. I will be having this and future testing done outside Scripps from this point on.

I'm sure the office staff have a lot to deal with. They are a busy office and I can bet there are some pretty demanding and entitled parents in this affluent community. The whole point of making appointments for the flu clinic is that you are not supposed to be waiting around inside with lots of other people - You are supposed to be in and out safely. Once we got called it was very easy. But please tell people that if they don't have appointments they cannot come in the building. They could check off on the list at the door so that people without appointments are not jumping ahead of people who have appointments, and increasing the time that people are sitting in a waiting room breathing on each other.

First off, so easy to find parking and they're not charging you $10 plus to go see a doctor. I find that ridiculous in other medical buildings. It is so easy to navigate and very clean and calm when you walk in. All the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I walked in to get some bloodwork done, in total, it took less than 10 minutes to check in, get the bloodwork done, WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT! I was so amazed, I couldn't believe it. Another perk of this location is that when you're done, you can come downstairs to a whole-foods and one of my favorite shopping centers. It cannot get any better.
