Dr. Ron Gandel & his staff will immediately make you feel comfortable. He will take the time to explain to you exactly what your problems (if any) are. He will then work w/ you, your financial/ health insurance situation to figure out your best course of action. He is kind, compassionate, patient, caring , gentle, professional and PAINLESS! His jokes aren't bad either. He saw me immediately when I arrived at his office, after asking me if I was having any pain at the moment. Reassured me it was nothing serious, and 3 extractions were not needed. Did a bonding on one tooth, which worked great, but other teeth nearby were hurting before and after the filling. He remedied that next two visits; deciding it was a bite issue, rather than a sensitivity problem. I would recommend him to any one in a heartbeat. Probably the best dental experience I have had; perhaps excluding the one who gave me nitrous oxide & headphones.

He then stated that that was just a "shadow" and that I have no cavities. Which was already hard to believe cause I was not taking good care of my teeth and was going there to begin my journey to restore my smile health. I did question this diagnosis of a "shadow" and he told me yes there is no cavity there even though, I could see it with my own eyes not even needing an x-ray. Flash forward to 2025 and I was having extreme pain in that tooth so we went back and he then said the tooth would need a root canal and crown. How could that be if there "was no cavity" in the first place so we began that process. the Dr said he could complete the procedure but when it was all said and done turns out he never even finished cleaning the root out!! AND sealed a massive infection in my tooth with a crown!!!! All because the root was curved and his tools couldn't handle cleaning it out properly without breaking my tooth root stating "that's as far as we can go" not "OK the tooth is all cleaned out". Instead of referring me out he went ahead and did the procedure and took our money happily since we were paying out of pocket. Then I was left with a horribly fitting crown destroying my bite and opposing teeth, and the crown was so cheap that when I had to go somewhere else to have the tooth actually cleaned and a proper root canal done the other dentist said that when he drilled through the tooth the crown was flaking away like a piece of plastic and, inside the tooth itself, they opened it and the first thing they said was "wow". I had 2 other fillings placed in this office on cavities they also "missed" during that cleaning as they couldn't have formed in a bit under 2 years by the son that was struggling so bad to reach the teeth that those two fillings had me there for about 3 hours and then ultimately a few days later turned into abscessed infections and needed root canals also. The office finance guy was not willing to refund us the money that we asked for because we didn't pay for the 2 fillings yet that ended up infected so he would give us what was left over after he took the money out for those and that they would replace the crown for free. Why would I want cheap crown in MY mouth. I WILL NEVER LET THESE PEOPLE COME NEAR MY MOUTH AGAIN. I would never send my friends, neighbors, or loved one to them. Do NOT go here as it seems they no longer have any idea what they are doing in there.

Dr Weinberger is the BEST! He has been taking care of my family's dental needs for about 25…read moreyears. He absolutely takes each individual's needs into consideration at that current time. For example, my twins started seeing him at a very young age, one twin had a terrible gag reflex and needed some work. Because of his special needs, he was referred to a Pediadontist, while the other twin was able to have all of her needs met with Dr Weinberger at that time. I have had other extensive medical needs, Dr Weinberger was always compassionate and coordinated my dental needs with the other things going on medically to the best extent possible. I have full trust in any of his recommendations. He is very gentle and compassionate. I still don't like needing to go to any dentist, but if I must go, Dr Weinberger is the only one for me! He makes you feel like family.

My appointment was for x-rays and a cleaning they were thorough and took their time which was great because normally whenever you go to any type of doctors they're always rushing you and pushing you out the door. How anyone could not tell i was in serious distress is beyond me. no suggestion of any other way to address my fear. No laughing gas, not even taking the time to stop what they were doing to see how i could be helped. I practically jumped out of the chair as soon as it was over with the silent vow to never ever return. I've been terrified to even get a cleaning since then. I say all this because the website indicates that they provide support and aid to those with dental fears. They don't. You get a musty blanket and headphones to listen to music. He was among the first dentist to master and use the wand to administer septocain to numb pain. If you have not experienced the wand, it is virtually painless because the needle is so small. Anyone with a fear of getting numbed up should visit Dr. Willderman. He and his wonderful staff are very calming and the dental work, including cosmetic dentistry is first rate. It is no wonder that he is named among the top dentists in the Philadelphia region.
