Burnt bottom of pizza

Cheesesteak

It's been couple weeks since I've visited Philly and had the amazing Philly cheesesteak and Italian hoagie from here. My cousin called in an order and picked up, the food came home pretty quick. I have no words to express how amazing the cheesesteak was since I had a not so good experience earlier in the day with cheesesteak from another well known location. Hands down one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. It had Cooper American cheese and it was my first time having a cheesesteak with that cheese. Every bite was worth it. The Italian hoagie was great as well. It had Cappicola, Ham, Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Provolone cheese and all the fixings. The hoagie was delicious but my vote goes to the cheesesteak. If you are in the area definitely check out this place.

This is a hidden gem in the northeast section of Philadelphia. I got the grandma pizza here and it so good and flavorful. Nice char on the crust and the tomato plum sauce is fresh. My next time is the cheesesteak I been hearing nothing but good things about it. Overall this is becoming my regular spot for pizza

Never a disappointment always very tasteful and great quality personality I think Stela's has the best in Philly! Only negative is no diet soda lol

Cheesesteak with cooper sharp

One of the best cheesesteaks I've had so far in the city and look forward to going back to try their other selections

Had a friend give me a gift card to Stella's Pizza. I've known of it but I've never tried it so it's excited to have something new. The upside down pizza with added pepperoni was a very well balanced, tasty and nicely crisp. The sauce was excellent and the cheese and seasoning was superbly balanced. What would pizza be without a cheesesteak, so that's what I did. I got extra cheese (amercian & cheddar, no copper here) and double meat because why not. Very fresh roll, nicely chopped meat with a good balance of onions and cheese blended throughout. Perfect flavor of the steak, very solid here. The extra meat really made it very hearty. Happy I tried it and would definitely come back.

I love Stella's cheesesteaks. they are so huge. You can make two steaks out of one. The bread is seated and the cheese is Cooper. Awesome! The wings are great as well. Today I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and it was so dry I couldn't even swallow it . They don't use real chicken breast so it's turn off . Other wise food is great zzz

Cheesesteak

When I tell you the cheesesteak was worth the drive! The amount of cheese, steak, onions, mayo, and peppers was on point. The sub was huge and I ate almost half of it in the car. The service was fast, they get a lot of orders, and the establishment was super cute. I loved that you can see them make the cheesesteaks and how passionate they are with every chop! 10 out of 10, leave a comment and check out Stella's Pizza in Philadelphia!

"Oh My God... I get it." - Frank Reynolds…read more My whole interpretation of what Michelin start rated places prior to eating here were that they were typically bougie / pretentious / overpriced establishments. I've dined at a place back home and although it tasted pretty good it fell into the latter of these statements above. Dalessandro's , though, changed my mind. Even the most humblest of a Philly Cheesesteak could be awarded such an award. There is nothing bougie/pretentious/overpriced about this establishment, it's staff and/or it's food. I sat there a couple bites in pondering what else I should try next time on my visit. I had the Philly Cheeseteak with sweet peppers with white American on a seeded roll. I had a philly cheese steak at a separate location prior to here, and although it was great, Dalessandros had the right balance of meat to bread to dollar ratio. I was full but content. Full but not bloated.

This spot has outdoor seating and a walk-up order menu. Even though the line was a bit long, service was very quick and efficient. Warning: it's CASH ONLY. As someone who doesn't carry cash, it was a bit shocking but they do have an ATM on sight! As for the sandwich itself: very good. I tried 2 different variations (one with cheese whiz and one without). The staff member i was chatting with recommended getting the sandwich w/o cheese whiz since that is not Dalessandro's specialty; and I agree! I liked just the traditional american cheese with mushrooms & banana peppers (for a kick).

I believe we got the Ribeye Cheesesteak with onions and peppers, and it was hands down one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. Normally, I'm not a fan of seeded bread and I usually don't like peppers either, but somehow everything worked perfectly together. The creamy cooper American cheese, the soft yet crunchy bread and the thinly sliced ribeye made for such an incredible combination. And much to my surprise the peppers actually added a really nice touch and brought everything together. The portion was absolutely massive, but the flavor was so good that it was hard to stop eating it. Definitely a cheesesteak I'd happily have again!

Ordered one cheese steak and waffle fries w/ cheese to share and it was MORE than enough for two people. Very good cheese steak, especially the bread, but everything was very salty... Biggest complaint is telling you go up stairs or outside after ordering... no thanks! Also, I went to grab the food and had a weird interaction as they forgot my fries and then I went back to get them and they wanted my name, but they never asked for a name on the order... Then a guy just gave me the rest of my order... Weird. Good food, but strange interactions with staff made it a little unpleasent.

Groovy Day, Yelpers!…read more OH BROTHER, PHILLY!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! During a recent day trip to Philadelphia, I had the pleasure of stopping by Oh Brother Philly, and let me tell you, this place did NOT disappoint! I ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak, truffle fries, and a cookies and cream milkshake, and EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! First, let's talk about that cheesesteak! The bread was buttery, pillowy soft, and practically melted in my mouth. The chicken was beautifully seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. Every bite was a little piece of happiness! And the truffle fries? YES, PLEASE! The perfect accompaniment to an already amazing sandwich. But can we PLEASE talk about that cookies and cream milkshake?! WHAT?! It tasted like REAL ice cream! Rich, creamy, indulgent, and worth every single sip. I was in milkshake heaven! Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with genuinely wonderful customer service, you've got yourself a winning combination. Now, normally, I'm the Yelp reviewer who takes pictures of EVERYTHING before taking that first bite. Well, not this time! I was so busy enjoying my food that taking pictures completely slipped my mind! And honestly, that should tell you everything you need to know! Would I recommend Oh Brother Philly? ABSOLUTELY! I'm already counting down the days until my next trip to Philadelphia because this is one place I fully intend to revisit. Oh Brother Philly, you've got yourself a fan all the way from Brooklyn! Until next time, happy eating, Yelpers!
