Julie has helped my…read morefamily in numerous ways and she really listens to your issues, and not only treats, but advises along the way. She treats the whole person, which is definitely not the norm in our western medicine society. I received acupuncture treatments to assist in fertility treatments which prior to seeing Julie, was a 3 year journey. I conceived within 6 months of starting acupuncture! Julie treated my son for severe allergies with a mix of herbs, after we had tried allergy shots with little success. The herbs worked after just 2 weeks! She used acupuncture to help my husband eradicate a lung condition that the MGH pulmonologist told him would be lifelong and chronic. I receive acupuncture monthly as part of my overall health regimen, and quite frankly, it's my favorite time of the month. I leave her office refreshed, centered and ready to get back to the demands of life. Julie is compassionate and you can tell it is her calling and life's work to help others.

Kendra is amazing. I was terrified of chiropractors before going here, but she made me very…read morecomfortable and was extremely gentle after I spoke about about my past experiences. Kendra looks at your entire body and does a thorough assessment at every visit. She knows what each of her patients need, and knows that everyone is different and different things work for different people. Her goal is to make you pain-free, and she commits to that goal because she really cares. I've had a few different problems (back, hip, neck, ankle) since I started coming here, and she always checks everything to find the root of the issue. I wish I could come here every day!

Like the previous commenter stated, she really understands how to treat whatever is ailing you by treating underlying issues you might not be aware of. For me, I went in for a recurring medical issue, turns out it more had to do with built up stress and anxiety. and with my treatment with her i have noticed i have been getting better and better. She really knows how to open you up without feeling interrogated or like you are at a therapist's office. She is very relaxed and professional... and just honestly a sweet person. Her space is nothing fancy which I honestly kind of like and she does take insurance otherwise it would be a bit too pricey for me. I would recommend her to any of my close family members or friends in a heartbeat.

After one session with her, I could walk again. After two sessions with her pain was absent from the affected area. What is more than the absence of pain was that the affected area grew stronger as well. Patricia's bedside manner is patient and kind. She seems to possess an intuitive sense for what is wrong. One of the most refreshing aspects of Patricia's practice, for me as a patient, is the feeling of being understood. This quality brought me to put faith in her ability to facilitate my healing. More than relieve the pain, Patricia has heightened my awareness of the root of my dis-ease, which, on an ongoing basis, I am observing my overall health to be elevated as well. Good luck. I hope you feel better.

I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
