We were warmly greeted by our server and sat immediately as the place was pretty much empty at 8 PM on a Saturday night. The bistro is adjoined with the hotel that shares its name, and while staying here we decided to try the place and no Yelper's had been here.
The space is very welcoming, well decorated and extremely clean. Our server was very attentive, and her English far exceeded our limited Italian. It's the off season for sure here right now, so not surprising there is not a full offering of the menu. We were recommended a red at the bottom of the price on the wine list and very appreciative of the wine most importantly, but not immediately at the top of the price list. The wine itself was yummy paired with our dinner choices.
Our Spaghetti Ala Courte d' Assise was fantastic as a first and our salad was oh so tasty if maybe a little heavy on the radicchio for our taste. Our Tagliata di Carne, or sliced beef was tasty, if a bit on the chewy side for our taste. Having been to Italy a few times we would like them to buy a higher grade of steak, but that is the Canadian in us talking.
Overall we couldn't find much fault other than the cut of beef, but if you find yourself in Sedirno you'd be wise to check it out. read more
