Had two massages there s couple years ago. Both great experiences. The first however was like a drug. I've never felt that good in my entire life. I literally felt like I was walking on clouds. I went to Steller and booked Chris off the recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. He listened to all my complaints on where I had tension and also worked tension out of areas I didn't realize were tense. Chris was extremely professional and the massage was so relaxing. One of my favorite places in the world! I have been going here for years after trying countless massage therapists at countless businesses. I mostly see the owner, Jenae, but have enjoyed other therapists as well. Jenae works hard to make sure she is hiring the right people and won't settle. Things I like are the communication/effort to make sure pressure is right, open 7 days and later hours, appointments don't have to be made way in advance, always feel like I'm getting my money's worth (being worked on whole time and prioritizing areas). read more

I suffer from back pain, insomnia and anxiety. I needed tension relief. It was already 3pm and most were closing for the day. Took a chance on this place and got a wonderful deep tissue massage from Jenae with the Yelp deal. This place is small but clean and professional-looking. Jenae was able to apply a lot of pressure, which was great. I hate underwhelming deep tissue massages, and this was definitely not one of them. Jenae was kind enough to show me some ways to reducing tension in between massages with a BackNobber (kind of like a TheraCane). I highly recommend Jenae! Horrible first experience at Stellar. I picked Stellar due to the positive reviews, but was greatly disappointed with my massage. I called one day in advance and booked a massage. I told the person on the phone I was interested in deep tissue and reiterated I wanted firm pressure due to a lot of physical activity and muscle tightness. He booked me for late afternoon with a therapist. As soon as I arrived I filled out the paper work, told my therapist my problem areas, and stated I preferred deep tissue with firm pressure. I was immediately told by her "I'm not the deepest." I knew I was in trouble at that point. You don't have to be the deepest and strongest and strap me down to the table, but honestly I feel like I would have been better off rubbing my back with a feather for an hour. This was the first massage I ever thought about getting up and walking out on, but I kept hoping it would get better. I was wrong and ended up highly disappointed. I had no relief and was just as tense as when I started. It was a total waste of an hour and $70. If you can't give a deep tissue massage then you don't need to be booked with a client who requests one. It is as simple as that. I've had hundreds of massages and I dare say this was one of the worst as far as relieving tension and actually working the muscles. read more

Had a couple's message scheduled for our first year anniversary. They called us to cancel 5 minutes before the appointment! She stated that the masseuse had a stomach bug today and thought she could still do it but decided at the last minute that she couldn't. They did offer to let us reschedule for next week and give us a 50% discount but that doesn't really work out for an anniversary. Issues that keep me from feeling satisfied with how it was handled are two-fold: (1) If I had canceled 5 minutes before I would have still been responsible for the full cost of the massage. While an offered discount is nice, I feel like it would have been fair for the full cost to be on them. (2) I am concerned that someone who was sick was considering still working with an active infection and that the management would allow it. I have a newborn at home and it would be dangerous for him if I had brought an infection home. (Granted, it's possible she just said 'stomach bug' generically when really she was just not feeling well). In closing, we should have been informed sooner that it was canceled. If we had more notice then a 'discount' might have felt appropriate enough. Also sick people should not be giving massages, period! My wife wanted to give only a single star, but I will still give 3 stars since I did not actually experience their services. I might still try them again sometime, but I hope they correct their policies in the future. read more

BEST FACIAL EVER! I get my massages here (Christopher is wonderful!) and tried a facial -- very relaxing, great shoulder, neck, arm and hand massage (including paraffin dip for the hands). The atmosphere is quiet. I have tried several facials in the area and this one included more extras than the others had. OMG,!!!!!......words cannot express what happened to me. My pain level was over a 10, I could barely walk and any pain medicine didn't work. However, after Ally worked on me, she found the tightness throughout my body and my pain is gone even to this day. I waited to see how I would feel the next day before writing the review. I will say she has healing in her hands and is very knowledgable about the body and her profession. I travel quite extensively and my stress level is high, however when I left there I could walk upright and sit with no pain or tingling in my toes and fingers. Legally there was no reason for a doctor's note or refusal. 18 minute reply was about 7 hours coming---if it was my cell which posts late on occasion possible --but it was my home phone-messages much more possible so we will attribute it to her /Kate's cell--no matter I called and messaged you multiple times and you did not respond---HAD YOU IT NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM--no excuses--please. I am a business man and at one time was above 400 employees---I was never, even now sitting on my couch still selling and representing my company people one to avoid problems and issues, customers can expect return calls PROMPTLY-- Yesterday--a truck delivering my steel hit a fence of my customer---I don't book trucks for my company that is done in FL---the person who does did it through a broker in VA---I had to trace the original or final entity that did the delivery--3 people SHOULD have taken care of this before me---but my customer called me---so I resolved it--customer service and responsibility --it is part of doing business--your job as management--- sitting on it or hoping it will go away is not.
