Naudia at Stellar Massage is fantastic! I used to get massages somewhat regularly, and my regular therapist was booked up, but I was in pain. I'm glad that I found Stellar Massage. Naudia worked out the pain/tightness I had in my neck/back. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and professional. I intend to return, because this was a great massage. read more

I needed a massage and didn't know how to find a good spot since I had just arrived in Birmingham. I checked Groupon but didn't really see anything good. I finally found this place on Yelp. I made an appointment for the next day. The place is really clean and the ambiance is soothing. My massage was amazing!!! A much needed relaxing massage. I will definitely go back! read more

I usually get the 2 hour massage and it's so great! Love the cozy atmosphere and therapists are so sweet

Updating my review--because KATE really needs props for her amazing hands! She fixed my sore neck on my last visit & really worked the tightness out of my lower back this last visit. She is amazing at what she does & I can't imagine going to anyone else going forward. I wish I could get a massage every week. That's how good she is! Love this place! read more

Had two massages there s couple years ago. Both great experiences. The first however was like a drug. I've never felt that good in my entire life. I literally felt like I was walking on clouds. I was laughing and stuff bc I felt that good totally amazed me. Can't remember the girls name but she was awesome. read more

Best massage ever! Becca Rose was fantastic. She really got in deep and worked out some pain that I've been dealing with for quite some time. I will definitely be a return client! read more

Took a chance on this place and got a wonderful deep tissue massage from Jenae with the Yelp deal. This place is small but clean and professional-looking. Jenae was able to apply a lot of pressure, which was great. I hate underwhelming deep tissue massages, and this was definitely not one of them. Jenae was kind enough to show me some ways to reducing tension in between massages with a BackNobber (kind of like a TheraCane). I highly recommend Jenae! I'm thinking of bringing my grandma here for a deep tissue massage. Edit: Online booking made it really easy to make an appointment. read more

I made an appointment at Stellar Massage because of chronic pain/tightness in my neck and shoulder. Within the first few minutes of my session, Meg found the problem and immediately went to work on it. She wasn't at all timid about "getting in there". As a result, I left feeling much better than when I walked in. I'm very impressed with Meg and Stellar Massage. I'll definitely go back! read more

I went to Steller and booked Chris off the recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. He listened to all my complaints on where I had tension and also worked tension out of areas I didn't realize were tense. Chris was extremely professional and the massage was so relaxing. The table warmer is a huge plus. Great experience! I will be back for sure. read more

One of my favorite places in the world! I have been going here for years after trying countless massage therapists at countless businesses. I mostly see the owner, Jenae, but have enjoyed other therapists as well. Jenae works hard to make sure she is hiring the right people and won't settle. Things I like are the communication/effort to make sure pressure is right, open 7 days and later hours, appointments don't have to be made way in advance, always feel like I'm getting my money's worth (being worked on whole time and prioritizing areas). read more

Kim and Randal did our couples massages and they were perfect at tending to our needs! We will be visiting again.

I suffer from back pain, insomnia and anxiety. I needed tension relief. It was already 3pm and most were closing for the day. Another, some wanted membership for 6 mos. and some waiting period of 2-4 wks. Can a girl just have a back massage? I dont know how I end up finding Stellar Massage thru Google, but I'm so GLAD I did. I was able to book an appointment EASILY ONLINE SAME DAY. I was nervous since I never had male massage therapist. Let me tell y'all something, this man named AUSTIN PAINTER is amazing!! Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable. Austin, made everything so easy I totally forgot my stressful day. Thanks to Stellar Massage and Austin, when I got home I slept like a baby. Reasonable price, awesome service and open late to accommodate who gets off work late. Thank you and will be making more appointments in future!!! read more

Horrible first experience at Stellar. I picked Stellar due to the positive reviews, but was greatly disappointed with my massage. I called one day in advance and booked a massage. I told the person on the phone I was interested in deep tissue and reiterated I wanted firm pressure due to a lot of physical activity and muscle tightness. He booked me for late afternoon with a therapist. As soon as I arrived I filled out the paper work, told my therapist my problem areas, and stated I preferred deep tissue with firm pressure. I was immediately told by her "I'm not the deepest." I knew I was in trouble at that point. You don't have to be the deepest and strongest and strap me down to the table, but honestly I feel like I would have been better off rubbing my back with a feather for an hour. This was the first massage I ever thought about getting up and walking out on, but I kept hoping it would get better. I was wrong and ended up highly disappointed. I had no relief and was just as tense as when I started. It was a total waste of an hour and $70. If you can't give a deep tissue massage then you don't need to be booked with a client who requests one. It is as simple as that. I've had hundreds of massages and I dare say this was one of the worst as far as relieving tension and actually working the muscles. read more

Perfect massage except my therapist was a bit more talkative than I personally would have preferred. Great atmosphere!

This was my third visit at Stellar Massage. This was the second couples massage for me and my wife. Just know we left relaxed and all the kinks were worked out. Hats off to Chris and the young lady that took care of us. This will not be the last time I frequent Stellar Massage. read more

Had a couple's message scheduled for our first year anniversary. They called us to cancel 5 minutes before the appointment! She stated that the masseuse had a stomach bug today and thought she could still do it but decided at the last minute that she couldn't. They did offer to let us reschedule for next week and give us a 50% discount but that doesn't really work out for an anniversary. Issues that keep me from feeling satisfied with how it was handled are two-fold: (1) If I had canceled 5 minutes before I would have still been responsible for the full cost of the massage. While an offered discount is nice, I feel like it would have been fair for the full cost to be on them. (2) I am concerned that someone who was sick was considering still working with an active infection and that the management would allow it. I have a newborn at home and it would be dangerous for him if I had brought an infection home. (Granted, it's possible she just said 'stomach bug' generically when really she was just not feeling well). In closing, we should have been informed sooner that it was canceled. If we had more notice then a 'discount' might have felt appropriate enough. Also sick people should not be giving massages, period! My wife wanted to give only a single star, but I will still give 3 stars since I did not actually experience their services. I might still try them again sometime, but I hope they correct their policies in the future. read more

BEST FACIAL EVER! I get my massages here (Christopher is wonderful!) and tried a facial -- very relaxing, great shoulder, neck, arm and hand massage (including paraffin dip for the hands). The atmosphere is quiet. I have tried several facials in the area and this one included more extras than the others had. I have signed up for the club (which saves $10 per facial/massage) so that I can enjoy each of these services monthly. Thank you Stellar Massage! read more

My right side was hurting a lot and when I left I felt amazing! She did some stretches with the massage that really helped.

Jenae, I dropped it--still think you are wrong (very) and your facts don't agree with mine. BUT your place is clean--usually you have good people working for you although the comment of a revolving door of employees is also true. I am terminal give or take 9 months which I knew when I booked that message. Legally there was no reason for a doctor's note or refusal. 18 minute reply was about 7 hours coming---if it was my cell which posts late on occasion possible --but it was my home phone-messages much more possible so we will attribute it to her /Kate's cell--no matter I called and messaged you multiple times and you did not respond---HAD YOU IT NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM--no excuses--please. I am a business man and at one time was above 400 employees---I was never, even now sitting on my couch still selling and representing my company people one to avoid problems and issues, customers can expect return calls PROMPTLY-- Yesterday--a truck delivering my steel hit a fence of my customer---I don't book trucks for my company that is done in FL---the person who does did it through a broker in VA---I had to trace the original or final entity that did the delivery--3 people SHOULD have taken care of this before me---but my customer called me---so I resolved it--customer service and responsibility --it is part of doing business--your job as management--- sitting on it or hoping it will go away is not. NOTE YOU ARE AN EMAIL AND POST JUNKY---AND NOT VERY TALENTED GIVEN YOUR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR WEBSITE----CALLS ARE MUCH MORE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL. FINAL TIP I wish you & your business well--I do not want to be angry at this juncture. PS My wife has vouchers--don't think we want to use them given circumstance --if you could refund read more

OMG,!!!!!......words cannot express what happened to me. My pain level was over a 10, I could barely walk and any pain medicine didn't work. However, after Ally worked on me, she found the tightness throughout my body and my pain is gone even to this day. I waited to see how I would feel the next day before writing the review. I will say she has healing in her hands and is very knowledgable about the body and her profession. I travel quite extensively and my stress level is high, however when I left there I could walk upright and sit with no pain or tingling in my toes and fingers. Whenever I come back to Alabama I will definitely book another massage and recommend Stellar Massage and especially Ally ....YOU ARE THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!! read more

This was my first time coming here as I live out of town and was visiting relatives for the holidays. I get massages all over the world due to my work and i can tell you this was one of the best massages i have ever received. I explained my problem areas and he spent the entire time resolving my issues. I could not believe how well he understood my body in one visit. I'll be back on my next visit. Cant recommend it enough! read more
