I've been going to Birmingham Massage Couple regularly for over 9 months now so it's about time for me to write this review! First, I've been getting massages for 30 years. I have chronic pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back along with other sports related injuries. I'm very picky about my therapists as I've been to many who are just mediocre and so the same "routine" for everyone. Tom and Cheryl Williams are the owners of BMC and do massages as well. They also have two other therapist and just hired a third along with expanding their massage studio. Since I have so many chronic issues, I almost always get a 90-minute deep tissue massage. I will say, the three therapists I've had treatments from here (Cheryl, Tom and Brenda) are truly excellent! Cheryl and Brenda are the two I've seen the most. They both also do Fascia Blasting and can customize your treatment the way you want. I have my own Fascia Blaster and blast on my own at home. So sometimes I only have them blast my back and back of legs since those area areas I cannot easily reach. Brenda is one of the BEST deep tissue massage therapists I've ever been to. She doesn't have a lot of experience (I believe 1-2 years) but she has the gift of touch and is one of the few therapists I truly get relief with. Tom does deep tissue massage too, but specializes in stretching. He works with a lot of athletes and I've gotten a lot of relief when he did my treatments. While I haven't been to Carrie or the new therapist, I am told Carrie is great for helping with TMJ relief. The facility itself is clean and relaxing. Each room has its own unique decor, and is extremely comfortable. They also offer couples massages, Swedish massage, hot stone, and they also have an infrared sauna that you can use before your treatment and it is only an additional $10 to use. Their prices are also the most reasonable in the area. For a 90 minute massage, it is only $80 (not including gratuity). Tom and Cheryl are also some of the genuinely sweetest and caring people! They've both lived in the area most their lives and know it well. Their office administrator Dinah, who I've meet a few times is also wonderful and friendly. When you arrive at the building, the entrance is on the left side if you're facing the building. This building also includes a massage school along with other businesses. Walk down the stairs and follow the signs. Super easy to find as long as you pay attention. I've been to several studios and nothing compares to Birmingham Massage Couple! They have a Facebook page and are quick about responding and with the number of therapists, it is easy to schedule an appointment when it meets your schedule. We did the 90 min couples massage tonight. It was a little hard to find exactly which room it was when we got there, but we found it. We allotted extra time for that since we aren't from the area. We were offered a glass of wine and met our therapisfs. They were super sweet & professional. We just did it for relaxation purposes and we got exactly that. It was perfect. My husband and I recently went here for a couples massage. This was my Husband's first time receiving a professional massage and he loved every minute of it. He has been telling anyone that will listen how much he enjoyed it. I have been to a variety of places for a massage and I will say that this place hits the top of my list. Our therapists were Kerri and Brenda and they were excellent! The whole experience was relaxing and welcoming. They really invited communication before the massage, and I felt like they really worked to understand our wants and needs from the session. I also felt that Brenda was in-tune to how my body was reacting during the session and able to adjust accordingly. My husband said that Kerri focused on his areas of concern and gave a great massage. It was mine and my mother's first ever massage (I surprised her for Mother's Day) and we had an absolutely amazing experience with Brenda and Kerry. I had Brenda who was so so nice and sweet and just nice to talk to, but the massage itself was amazing as well. And I was nervous about it being my first time that I would feel maybe awkward or uncomfortable, but we did not in the slightest! They made us feel right at home and well taken care of. They also after us filling out the initial sign in sheet talked to us and made sure they really catered to our specific needs and areas of concern (ex.
