That issue was addressed the same day I called, and the site visit charge was credited against the work to swop out the fuse panel for the breaker panel. The scheduled follow up visit included converting our fuse panel to Breakers, installing a door bell, GFI outlet and outdoor switch. All the work was completed for the estimated price, and on the date scheduled. Elmar looked after all the prework ie. scheduling the power shutdown and inspection. However, on their way out they offered to wipe the floor for me. So colour me astonished that there are actually contractors who will do what they say they will when they say they will and then stand by their work without any hassle and make sure that they don't leave a mess behind.
