SEK99 full buffet. This place has everything you can possible ask for - hot dishes like sausage, eggs, bacon, waffles/pancakes, potato in one way or the other, oat meal and cold dishes like cheese, ham, yoghurt, vegetables, fruit and - the bread is good! Hot and cold beverages. They have it all! And it's goooood! I don't know if it is common practice, but today they actually brought the waffles to the table for every one - freshly made. That I like! Their waffles are really good! They are so good they even worked with lingonberry and whipped cream! (which I never have) There is one downside though and that is the many tables and chairs in a small area. It gets really crowded and annoying to get to your table and back. They do not accept AMEX.

I had some delicious eggs (sort of a custard dish), fresh waffles, bread, rolls, potato pancakes, and fresh coffee. They also had an assortment of fruit juices. For SEK99 it was a good deal.

We each got a baguette; mine had mozzarella & tomatoes (which the young woman warmed up for me) and my husband's had shrimp with lettuce & tomatoes. Seafood restaurants abound in Gothenburg, so it's difficult to make a choice! However, after…read morereading reviews and speaking to the locals, I settled on this place for dinner one night- and I am so glad I did! It was a bit of a trek from my hotel, but an enjoyable walk nonetheless. Upon arriving, the place was busy, but we managed to snag a table outside. Although the inside looked very cozy, I was happy to sit out in the cool evening air. We were given menus, and our server told us the specials. We ordered beers for now, but planned on ordering wine with dinner. Asking the server for his recommendations, we decided to share the Garlic Gratinated Langoustines. For mains, I ordered the Fish au Gratin, as he said they were known for the dish, and my dining partner ordered the Catch of the Day, Cod Loin. We received our beers and then ordered a nice bottle of white to be served with dinner. They brought the langoustines, and they were absolutely incredible! Fresh and large, and tasty! We were also brought some yummy bread and butter. Our mains arrived and boy, was he right- the Fish au Gratin was absolutely delicious, the sauce creamy and not overwhelming the fish. The wine paired perfectly, and we enjoyed our dinners immensely. We ordered one dessert to share, as well as a glass of port wine. The dessert was odd; it had a cucumber taste to it, not a fan, but hey, it's nice to try new things. Overall, this was one of my favorite meals in Gothenburg, the restaurant was great as was the old town neighborhood of Haga. Highly recommended!

Jinx is not one of those places, it lived up to my expectation and more. The staff are nice, the place is cool and perfect to sit out in summer and the food is so, so good. In winter, I think take away is necessary since there isn't much space inside the restaurant. Other than this minor inconvenience, the restaurant as a whole is great. We shared the bao, both the pork belly and the chicken. Each was distinct and each had its own set of complementary flavors in the boa. I'm excited to try the ribs next time!

When you enter you get in line and grab a tray, then order your coffee and food at the register and they will place the food and drinks on your tray, or have you step to the side while they finish making your drinks. We came on a busy Sunday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes. The kanelbulle was huge but not dry and was quite good. I ordered an iced coffee and it was also good. The food selection was pretty typical sandwiches and pastries. The staff was not super friendly and a bit stressed snapping at people to move along or repeat their order. I don't think I'd come back here again even with tourists, there's nicer options just down the street or other parts of Gothenburg.
