We were the only customers in there for 30 mins and they never asked us if we needed help or had questions. They we laughing and talking while on fb on their cell phone and eating candy snacks out at the cashier desk. I never experienced such horrible service. My mother in law entered the store 30 mins after us being ignored and she too was not acknowledged. After almost an hr of browsing the one sales clerk yelled over "are you stilling doing ok?" Unmmm. You didn't ask or acknowledged us in the first place. The store was unkept and dirty, with a Starbucks cup sitting at the window because they were too Busy Gossiping to clean or help customers!

And Oh my God, their inventory is so stinking cute. I probably spend hundreds every month on Carters alone and it's so worth it. This location is one of the moderately sized locations and the associates keep it neat and organized. They have it sectioned off by girl, boy, and neutral and the associates are friendly and can assist you if you want to put an outfit together. Carters has collections so if you check the tags it will have a symbol like a star, lei, heart, etc. Then you can have the associate show you everything in that collection with the matching symbol so your baby will always have a wardrobe that flows together. Now yes, babies barely wear clothes and grow too damn quick, luckily Carters is very affordable and they have killer sales almost daily. Their return policy is heavenly because there is no expiration on how many days you have to return an item. They also have Carter's rewards so when you spend a certain amount you get 'rewards' to spend next time you come back in the store. Definitely add your email to their mailing list so you can get coupons and have more ways to save. I will say their online store seems to make their items smaller in the sleeves, so either go to the store or order the next size up on the site because they do tend to shrink a tad bit when you wash them.

As someone who's been visiting Toledo since college, I had no clue this was even here? From what the internet says, they've been open since 2004. They have a variety of nicer stores and restaurants to choose from with ample parking throughout. The place is clean, well maintained and easy to get in and out of regardless of what you're here for. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of experiences you could have here. Toledo is really trying to revamp their image and I'm glad this place is around. No more Franklin Park Mall for me! I was thrilled to find a place for a single mom on a limited budget to shop for clothes and toys that were affordable...usually less than half the original sticker price. I was able to provide clothes and toys for many years thanks to your business. Fast forward to March 2025. I now have 3 granddaughters. We watch them every other weekend. My spouse and I are both disabled and back on a limited budget, which I never thought I'd be at the age of 50 after working in the corporate world for 20 years. I thought - hey...we just moved back to this side of town, I can shop for the girls at Once Upon a Child! NOPE. Won't do it now OR EVER!!! Imagine my surprise when I went to the size 12 section for girls and found an adorable white tank top with some brown and tan butterflies on it --- something I would expect to pay a couple dollars for at a SECOND HAND SHOP. NOPE - $6.00. I thought maybe it was a mistake so I looked at the very next white tank top that was plain white...with the top of the front with frilly material. $4.00. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!? I worked in negotiations...maybe these are opening prices....maybe? I went up to the counter and asked if the prices were negotiable. I was told, only if there is obvious damage. Well, no damage to those shirts...other than Once Upon a Child wanting to rip off customers. I am extremely disappointed in what this business has become. Maybe it's because the location borders on Sylvania/Toledo that as a business you think it is okay to charge these prices? Maybe it's because your business model has changed and instead of trying to serve a population that lives paycheck to paycheck you are now more interested in profit? Let's just say that I will take my business elsewhere, probably to the actual stores that sell those items brand new for the price you are charging for used...or even less.
