Long post! At 29 years old I've been dealing with back issues/ pain on and off for close to 15 years. My career and livelihood revolves around horses as I am a trainer. I've had a few good horse accidents but it's no doubt that the life I live is not necessarily easy on the body. Over the years I have seen numerous doctors, chiropractors and specialist. I've been adjusted, poked, injected, massaged... you name it, I've probably had it done. When the words surgery came up at the beginning of this year I just cringed. I recently injured my lower back reaching down to pick up a propane tank. As I tried to lift the tank off the ground, I felt the most debilitating pain in my lower back. I'm 38 years old, live an active lifestyle, work out regularly, eat healthy meals and do the best I can to take care of my body and overall health. I couldn't believe I was in so much pain after just reaching down to pick up an object. After waddling around the house that day, struggling to do simple things like walk, sit, stand, move in any direction, it was apparent that I needed some type of chiropractic care. Our family of 7 have been going to Dr. Stein for 9 years now-not because we hurt anymore, but just for general adjustments and maintenance. I came to Dr. Stein originally when I was pregnant with my first child and experiencing daily headaches. I had had headaches my whole life, but only when I was pregnant did I notice how many pills I was taking to relieve the pain. Dr. Stein has been a Complete Blessing for my Family, especially our son. Our son had some scary experiences with loss of feeling in his legs and couldn't walk. He was 10 years old at the time. We took him to the Childrens hospital, ran many tests, saw many specialists and they could not find anything that could be causing the loss of feeling and pain in his legs. They wanted him to see a psychiatrist.....As a mother, who knows her son, I knew it wasn't psychological. Dr. Stein, was able to relieve me of my severe back pain, he was recommended to me by another medical professional in the Phoenix area as a 'must go to'. i 1st visited him in Feb and was not able to walk because of severe back lower pain, when i arrived at their office i was accommodated in a room with a table to lie down until he could attend to me. Dr. Stein adjusted my back every day for 1 week until i was able to walk without pain. Each time in the following weeks he adjusted my back there was pain relief, unfortunately for me i had to travel to business and only saw him periodically. Dr. Stein is incredible! I suffered major damage in my neck from a bad collision and had migraines that made it impossible to work or to do any day to day activities. I first met Dr Stein about 2 years ago when I had severe lower back pain, such that I could hardly walk. On my first visit, I was impressed with his professional attitude towards treatment, beginning with a full spinal x-ray and the use of a device which helped locate the exact areas needing correction. I went to Dr Stein to treat my agonizing headaches. I had headaches for years. I used prescription drugs to rid me of the pain so that I could carry on every day but they were starting to last up to four days. I had gone to other chiropractors but none were able to stop my headache pain. Dr Stein never twisted my neck. He gently found the spot in my neck that was causing the pain and adjusted it.
