The chicken here is flavorful and juicy which some kebab places struggle with cooking on a rotating spick. The second time I got the shawarma gyro which i recommend as it is plenty of food for a meal. The chicken shawarma was accompanied with fries and vegetables in a fresh pita with delicious white sauce. If you're staying in bologna and get tired of the wonderful Italian food or want a cheap alternative, then this is definitely the place to go. You can tell it's great by the number of university students eating there at all hours of the day and night.

Very nice design and interior, this is definitely a very vegan/vegetarian sort of place but they offer a very good lunch menu with two items for 8 euros (basically with a glass of wine and water, your meal average around 10 euros a person). I had the spinach and kale puree with garlic which was really tasty, much more than it sounds. I also tried a fresh salad with avocado which was nice, though I would have appreciated more avocado ;-). My boyfriend got a type of pasta with sauteed veggies, which was really good. The turnaround was quite quick since it's a popular work lunch environment, it was absolutely packed with local Italians who obviously come here quite a bit. The mixed meat/cheese plate featured a number of special preserved meats from Bologna including mortadella, several different types of ham and salami, and three different types of cheese. Each of these was distinct in flavor and texture and went nicely with a side of piadina flatbread on the side. A classic Bolognese pasta dish was the Tortellini in Brodo, or little folded pastas filled with meat and served in a rooster broth. While decent, the broth was a bit oily and the pasta on the bland side. Finally, we had the salad with buffalo mozzarella, made with lettuce, tomato, radicchio, carrots, corn, and arugula. Again, the salad was just fine but everything including the cheese was rather lacking in flavor.
