Dr. Shwartz is a caring and thorough primary care physician, and we have all felt very well looked-after. He takes his time and one does not feel rushed. Referrals to specialists have been excellent.The office is run efficiently with superb and timely record keeping. Appointments begin in a timely way, and the place is clean and pleasant. I was horrified to discover it was blood, and immediately got into the car with my husband and rushed to Sutter hospital. I knew something was very wrong, and I was terrified. Dr. Pflum rushed into the hospital (it was her day off). Everyone knew the severity of the situation, and I knew in my heart I needed an emergency cesarean right then, right there. I had a placenta abruption, and there was no time. All she could do was to look deeply into my eyes, hold my hand, and tell me it was going to be ok. This was an extremely rare situation where timing was of the essence. Usually this is something you talk about and discuss. But had she waited any longer my daughter would not have survived. It turned out to be a matter of seconds. She (and her staff) saved her in the knick of time! This was nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Jeannie! We love you.

I had my son in the St.Helena hospital and I have only gratitude for everybody there. Dr.Sue Turner, Dr.Kirk , Dr. Candice and Dr. Henry are all amazing and wonderful. They are very knowledgeable. All the doctors and nurses were very professional, caring. I received excellent prenatal care and I had a wonderful delivery experience. I do not think I could have asked for better. I would highly recommend the practice and the hospital for child birth.

Seems they cannot keep doctors as 3 of mine have just up and left. The DO is a terrible doctor whom failed my husband miserably and blamed him for it. The staff must all be directed to say 'I hear you and I care' because they all say it every time, yet they do neither. Please find an alternative to MCHC.
